Emma Watson Sad to Hear 'Harry Potter 7' Rumors
Filed under: Action, RumorMonger, Newsstand, Remakes and Sequels
Post title edited to remove the details of the latest rumors. Obviously, don't continue reading below if you don't want to know the latest round of rumors. The U.K. paper The Telegraph recently sat down with the stars of Harry Potter -- HP himself, Daniel Radcliffe, Hermione gal Emma Watson and Ron Weasley -aka- Rupert Grint. During the chat, Watson commented on the rumors circulating about the hacker rumors that circulated recently: "I really want to know what happens. There's a guy who claims he's been able to hack into J. K. Rowling's account, and he's saying that Hermione's going to die, and I found myself getting sad. I hadn't contemplated her dying." Somehow, her death hadn't occurred to me either, and now I'm feeling bad myself. You see, I have this uncanny tendency to really like characters who end up getting axed. Twin Peaks, Scream, Buffy, you name it. (And a different Potter character too, although I won't say who.) If it actually happens, I'm sorry, Emma! It certainly would be a big blow of a twist on the whole death thing. So many people expect Harry to die now that killing Hermione could possibly hurt more. Eh, let's hope not. I don't want to end my Potter experience bummed out.
The interview also delves into lighter topics as well. Radcliffe is apparently a big Peter Sellers fan and wants a film future with dramatic and light-comedy, as well as a whole new kind of world if he was a leader: "Somebody asked me today what I would do if I was a leader of a country and it would be flying saucers and unicycles -- everybody needs a unicycle in life." As for Rupert, ah that kid... It seems he bought an ice cream truck that he drives around: "I don't know why I bought it, but it's really cool. I've always had an interest in the ice cream industry. It's really cool; it's got a freezer in the back and a big kitchen with sinks. It's got a bell that plays a tune. It's really cool." Cool indeed.

I've been reading this page for over a year, I'm done, this shows either utter stupidity or utter contempt for your readers, neither of which I intend to support. Thanks, you fucking assholes.

It's a rumour people. They're reporting on how the actress feels about a rumour. If it does spoil the book for you, then why don't you go hide in a shell until it comes out because rumours exist.

Absofreakin'lutely ridiculous. An article with no merits aside from pissing people off and potentially destroying an experience that many, many people have invested years in working towards. Does this site exist in a vacuum, or is there some editorial oversight committee clearly asleep at the wheel?
Thanks, Monica Bartyzel aka She-Who-Should-Not-Be-Welcome at this site.

Nice goddamn possible spoiler alert jerkoffs. I read via RSS and if you had put in a possible spoiler in the title I would of known not to read it, but putting the actual spoiler in the title??
You guys are jerks!! Maybe it's time to stop reading Cinematical. At least TV Squad keeps their spoilers in a particular section so you can AVOID them.

This isn't the first time you guys have done this; and even though you've changed the title, the original headline is still showing up in my RSS feed.
Ironically, the more ham-headed film news sites don't make mistakes like this. They're more sensitive to readers' preferences when it comes to plot reveals; it's almost like they actually watch films, rather than just report on them.

You might want to make your spoiler warning even more noticeable. I didn't notice the italics at the top until I'd already read the whole article and all comments.
Thanks, guys. Oops.

Nice job, guys. The edit doesn't really help the title on the RSS feed, does it? You suck.

What a bunch of babies. It's a rumor, not the ending. Get over yourselves. Hey, here's a spoiler, THEY ALL DIE. It's just a matter of time.

In defense of Monika, she wrote the post but did not create the original title. And besides, she's simply reporting on a RUMOR that's been going around for about a month now. She didn't spoil anything. These aren't facts, these are rumors people -- and we write about rumors every single day. Some are true, some not.
As we all know, any one of a number of characters may die in the seventh Potter book. And anyone with a brain can start an internet rumor. That's what this is. So calm down, take a chill pill and enjoy your weekend.

That spoiler should have been behind a "read more" link because my eyes still found the spoiler as I was scrolling to the next article on the site. :( I've been trying to avoid all mention of that rumor since word came out about 2 weeks ago. Thanks a lot. This is a movie site, not a book site anyways!

Well if she didn't create the title, then who did. I want to know who spoiled a big part of the most anticipated book ever! Furthermore, the first part of her post still contained no spoiler warning. It was just as bad as the title. But really WHO WROTE THAT TITLE! I read so many sites on the weblongs, inc network so I suggest that TV Squad or a number of any other sites holds a seminar for you titled "HOW TO TYPE THE WORDS SPOILER WARNING!"

wow a kids book's plot has been slightly ruined for you. like it matters. the fact she dies doesent matter. i heard
*spoiler alert* Dumbeldore dies *spoiler end*
before i read the 6th book but i didnt know how, by who or how. thats the interesting part. if she does die do you think the 700 page book will open and read "Harry Potter went back to school where he found Hermionie dead and Ron making out with Nevile, the end" the rest of the book is blank. no that is not what it will be like. so you know one little plot detail. poor you

Its just been confimed! JK Rowling will be working on another project called Penseive: The Memoirs of a Headmaster. Its all about Albus Dumbledore and his life! At one point, this series will tie into the Harry Potter series and will elaborate on the personal relationships of Dumbledore, other adult witches, wizards and aurors, as well as the staff and students at Hogwarts! That is all that is being said at this time, and it will no doubt be a few years before it becomes a reality, and JK Rowling is taking a break from writing for a year or so, but atleast now we know what to look forward to! Pass along this message to let other Harry Potter fans know about this big news!!! Unfortunately nothing more is being said about The Deathly Hollows until it is released, sorry.
