If you read the books carefully you'll discover that "hot" Bellatrix Lestrange is married to one of Tom Riddle's schoolmates (Voldemort is in his mid-60s during Harry's Hogwarts years) and has been imprisoned in Azkaban for 12 years. So she would be at least in her 40s, more likely 50s or even 60s. It's kind of silly that they cast an actress as her who looks to be in her late 20s. But that's Hollywood for ya.

Without a doubt Lord Voldemort is the prime villan throughout the Potter series. He is akin to the Biblical Satan and like Satan is indestructable. Evil is an energy, not a physical mainfestation and like all energy it can only be redirectted, never destroyed. So there is hope for our favorite bad guy may well be totally rehabilitated, adopt Harry in penence for killing Harry's parents and set up a small business catering to the needs of orphaned wizards and witches. Hey! Anything's possible with MAGIC!!

Doesn't mean that Bellatrix herself was a schoolmate of Tom Riddle... I believe the books established that she was in school at the same time as Snape.

ok one thing is that malfoy is evil obvisouly very evil. also you should not be worried about the stupid demntors harry has that one down. and yes voldemort is the prime villian but come on comparing him to satin is stupid. harry has other more impotant thing to worry about than demntors. and duhhhhhhhhh snape is evil everyone knows that. one last thing is that malfoy is not without a dought hot. harry without a dought is hot!!!

Top villains are definitely Voldemort, Bellatrix and I'll even give you Snape. Snape is on a half and half right now so none of the true fans know exactly what yet. Dementors are a group of creatures and cannot actually be villains, along with the Dursley's they aren't even close to being villains; especially the three I've named they can't compare. Barely any of those "villains" on that list are real villains. And TOM RIDDLE?! WTF?! That's Voldemort, you can't count the same person twice, even if they are at different books and ages.

But the movies have taken so much out of the books, especially the marauders which would've been one of the best things to have included in PoA. Oh well, that's Hollywood for you.

who said that snape is evil? yes, he killed Dumbledore, but we really don't know all the details. I mean, he's been the gray character the whole series, and I don't think Rowling would suddenly and irreversibly switch him to the bad side before the final book. Like any epic, as the maybe good/maybe bad character he'll probably have a huge role in helping the main character at the end (think Lord of the Rings and Star Wars). And Dumbledore was always mentioning he wasn't afraid of death- maybe he knew and was expecting it.

That being said, he’s also extremely hot. Of all the guys on this list, he and Lucius are the hottest. And HA HA HA—totally not Pettigrew. XD

Tom & Draco aren’t bad either, and to be honest Quirrell is cute in a way. When he’s not all evil and glaring and showing you his Voldie-head. More when he’s his nervous, stuttering old self. Awwww. Poor guy.

And yeah, Bellatrix is very very very pretty despite being a crazy psychobaish. XD But really? I think Petunia is pretty too. Even in the book she doesn’t sound unattractive. But WOAH, in the first part of this movie, will you check out the skimpy housedress she’s wearing?! O_O I know it’s hot out, but that was just so…unexpected. Don't think that's too much of a spoiler, right? There was a picture out way ahead of time but you couldn't tell.

Aaaanyway. Why can't Dementors be classified as villains? Basically this list is for anyone who's done things against Harry, it seems. I don't know that they're the ONLY unpitiable ones, Voldemort is supposed to be the ultimate evil. Everybody else could have some good in them somewhere (like Sirius says we all have both darkness and light in us.)

Snape is not truly evil. He is jealous,angry,passed over and may be arrogant but not evil. He has tried in numerous areas tried to help Harry without being asked, of course He is on both side of the fence so he has to do and act the part. Dumbledore trusted him for a reason that may come out in the last book. I believe he was told to terminate Dumbledore by Dumbledore to put Harry in the right mind set. He did not expect Harry and his fiends to start the group of students named Dumbledore's Army, but once he did it he knew that Harry was ready to take responsibility in the right way.

Delores Umbridge is FAR too low on your list! She should be at least number 2 or 3! Her slow repeated torturing of Harry and her takeover of Hogwarts are all the more awful because of her vile attempts to appear pure and humble! Can you imagine government officials taking away people's rights, advocating torture, and controlling the press, all under the guise of goodness? Thank goodness that could never happen here!

I'm not sure if Snape is a villian or not. I cannot wait to read the final book - I hope JK has explained just why DD trusts him so much - I have been curious about that since the very first book. My favorite "bad guys" to look at on screen are Lucious Malfoy and Snape (if he is bad, that is). I think Lucious is handsome and Snape is just so entertaining to watch - the way he speaks and is all in black and skulks around so much.

snape is not evil. he is misguided, greasy and mean but not evil. just because he killed DD doesnt mean he is evil!!. he very well may have been asked to kill DD by DD himself!

MALFOY IS NOT HOT!!!!!! he is a disgusting little worm who is pittiable because voldemort is threatening to kill his MOM if he doesnt follow orders (of course if u havent read HP 6 then u wont know this)

Bellatrix is completely, insanely evil!!!! how could she kill her own cousin???? EVIL!!!!!

and now,....Voldemort. He is obviously evil and horribly cruel, but I dont think that's his fault. if u have read HP 6 than u know that his mothers side of the family insanity is very common. Also, doesnt his closeup look a LITTLE like smeagle fron lord of the rings?

oh yea, harry (radcliff) was hot, before he got his horribly uguly haircut for this movie. so now he's almost hot.

Hello fellow fans, I think Drako Malfoy should be #2 on the list because if he had not open a doorway/portal into the castle then the Daeath Eaters would have never gotten past DD protection spell and enter into the castle.
Deloris Umbridgfe should have been #3 on the list, because she tried to stop the students from learning/practicing protection spells againts the dark arts. So what is wrong with protection spells again?Also if she was not evil, then why haven't DD invited her to join thre Order Of the Pheonix? maybe DD knew that she was bad/evil posing to be good.
