Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner: Ask 'The Kingdom' Stars a Question
Filed under: Action, Interviews, Unscripted
If you haven't seen Moviefone's super raunchy and Superbad Unscripted interview with Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, it's well worth a look, especially if you love hearing newly-minted stars cuss each other out. Thanks to all who asked questions, including Matthew from West Lafayette, IN, who asked Hill and Cera for advice to high-schoolers on how to be 'Superbad.'
But now on to something totally and 100% completely different, as we at Moviefone just booked Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner. Of course we don't expect these sexy The Kingdom co-stars to go all NC-17 on us, but we can always hope ... So lock and load, put on your thinking helmets and spray us with your best Unscripted questions.
To the uninitiated among you, Unscripted is Moviefone's star-on-star video Q&A show in which celebrities interview each other with your questions and some of their own. So stop stalking and start asking, and please provide your first name plus the city and state you live in!

I've never enjoyed watching another actress as talented as you are. I am looking forward to seeing you in as many diverse roles, as time allocates, considering your domestic obligations. So I guess my question is; can I look forward to you devoting more time to your career?

To Jennifer Garner: you're a very talented and versatile actress. I've never seen a perfect mix of phisical embodiment and amotive reaction as in your character Sydney Bristow. In "Alias" you also managed to put a lot of "comic nuances" in a very dramatic role. What do you prefer to play: a dramatic character or a comic one?
For this role: did you really feel touched by the way in the Middle East women are considered? And not just their religion itself, but the "way" extremists contamplate their religion for their own purposes. Do you think it's only an old inheritance difficult to change, or just an alibi for their fear the so different world around them?
Sorry for the very long question.
Thank you, Elena.

Had the opportunity to see an advanced screening of The Kingdom last week ... probably the second-best flick I've seen in the last few years (Bourne Ultimatum blew me away).
Question for Jaime and Jennifer is the old standby: What attracted you to the project? Pete Berg directing? The script? (Sorry, I'm actually very curious for an answer to this.)

Jennifer, while on Alias you provided a strong, intelligent, fascinating female character for many young girls, like myself, in a world where role models are hard to come by.I really miss having Sydney Bristow to look up to. What are some of your next projects, and will you ever do serialized television again?

Ms. Garner, I would first like to say that you are such a terrific role model for teens like me. You are so kind and giving. I was just wondering what it felt like to be in another action film after finishing Alias. Did you miss it? Also since I am a huge fan I want to say Violet is so adorable and I only wish you were a Yankees fan!(boo red sox)
Thanks and sorry if this was annoying,
Lesley

To: Jennifer
Was it less intimidating to take on this role having done so much stunt work and previously working with Peter Berg on Alias?

For Jaime and Jennifer: What is your favorite Colin Farrell story?
For Jennifer: How well do you really handle a gun? How different is FBI Agent Mayes from CIA Agent Bristow?
For Jaime: What determines whether you take a movie role? Script, director, cast, money, etc.

To Jennifer, since it is getting closer and closer to Halloween, I was wondering if you are at all a fan of horror films and if the right script came along you'd ever consider being in one?

Dear Ms.Garner:
Hello! I asked this same question on the Jen-Garner
.net Fansite, but no one seemed to know the answer
for sure. Because of your expertise in Tae Kwon Do,
I've often wondered if you've ever considered entering
competitions or giving demonstrations. For after
having worked
so diligently learning this stuff, it seems to be a
shame that you'll be using it only in films. And who
knows - maybe you'd take home a medal, like Chuck
Norris did some years back!
Thanks so much for reading, and please give my best
wishes to Ben and Violet.
Sincerely,
Roger W (Capella)

Dear Ms. Garner:
I did not get to say this in my initial message (#14),
as I tried to be brief and simply ask a question, but
I will say it now: you are a true heroine to me, and
an inspiration to so many of us - especially to our
young people. And not just because of your TV and film
roles, but because you are a thoroughly beautiful
person. You are kind, caring and gracious, and I am
so very proud to count myself among the great number
of your adoring fans.
Once again, thanks so very much for reading, Ms.
Garner, and I send all my love to you, Ben and
Violet.
Sincerely,
Roger w (Capella)

Jamie Foxx:
This film could be considered a Michael Mann film despite the fact that it is not directed by him.
Seeing as you have done multiple films with Michael Mann, what do he and Peter Berg have in common in terms of directing? Do you see Peter Berg as the protege of Michael Mann?
