Kristen Stewart Has Jumped Into the 'Twilight'
Filed under: Romance, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Casting
She has comforted herself in The Safety of Objects, she has struggled for life in the Panic Room while Jared Leto terrorized her with really, really terrible cornrows, she visited Cold Creek Manor,* and that was only her first three features. Now Variety reports that Kristen Stewart, fresh from Sean Penn's Into the Wild, has been tapped for another starring role. She'll take the lead in Thirteen writer/director Catherine Hardwicke's next movie, the young adult thriller/romance called Twilight, which I first told you about in October. Sorry Emily Browning, who was once rumored to star.Based on the YA series by Stephenie Meyer, Twilight focuses on a 17-year-old named Bella who moves to a small town to live with her dad. Unfortunately, she falls for a pale and mysterious classmate, which can only mean one thing -- he's a bloodsucking vampire. According to Variety, he's determined to push her away, so he's not only a sexy vampire, but a noble one. But, there's only so long that a man, even one that drinks blood, can push off undeniable attraction, and they head into a romance. But that's complicated when his nemesis comes to town. (This sounds so very similar to LJ Smith, which I mentioned last time...) The film will start filming this February, but in the meantime, we need a nemesis, and more importantly, a vampire hottie. Who should it be?

Tell me you did not just type "Cold Creek Manner".
Anyway, Kristen Stewart is great, loved her in Panic Room. Too bad Emily Browning didn't make it in. Maybe she is secretly working on "A Series of Unfortunate Events II". We can only hope.

I have read this series of books and they are the best three books I have ever read. I couldn't put them down. They were at least 500 pages each and I read all three of them in one week. I can only hope that the movie comes close to the book.

Hi..
My name is Ada .
All my life I have not been very popular, I had my two best friends and that was it.
I didn't talk much...I got good grades and I missed out on alot of things....You see my dad left when I was 12....I let go of my two only friends, they tried to get me back but I wouldn't let anyone in to try and make me feel better ,so after a while they stopped trying, And I had no friends.
After that I turned all my attention to books, I learned that I love to read and soon I began to read Twilight...Bella was my Idol....She made me want to be like her and I told my mom
"mom, im going to be in this movie....because I want to do something with my life"
I got into acting and I have worked for four years to get into commercials and I did. I got my friends back and more but now that I knew there was going to be a movie, I knew I was going to be in it. My mom had money ready to go to the audition and I practiced and I knew that even if I wasn't going to make it....I would have a chance.
Good for you that you got the part....I mean im not writting this to be mean.....but you didnt even try, you didnt fight for two years to try and be in this movie like I did, this was my life and all that mattered to me. I bet you didn't even know about Twilight for more than 4 months!
I hope you have fun with the movies
I just wanted you to know that you have ruined my dream....and not only mine.....but hundreds of other girls.

My older sister was going to audition for this movie and she was pumped up for this movie for 2 yearnd told all her friends she was going to audition and she put her heart and soul into trying to get into this movie..she already could go and they had everything ready..day they were leaving..passports...my sister ead the book and was in love with it and i thought she would make it..she's same height and everything she's supposed to be and reminds me of bella all the time..even in a long time when she dosen't like it anymore i will still remember what happened because this movie was her life and she will probably remember it forever!! She was crying for 3 weeks as soon as she found out...she won't do anything because of you.You hurt millions of girls feelings who all wanted to addition and you just got the part because you were in a couple of movies...I bet my sister would make it..she sounds just like Bella and she's not a wannabee, before she even new about this she was kind,funny,smart..just like Bella..even if she didn't make it there are probably so many girls crying about this..So thanks alot for spoiling something important to my sister and she will never for t!
GOOD DAY!!

I am upset that Twilight is being turned into a movie because 100% of the time directors screw it up.(Series of Unfortunate Events) Kristin Stewart is a good actress, but i don't think she could play the part well in the movie; Ive never seen her playing the role of the protagonist or a romantic 17-year-old. Since this is one of my favorite books ever i hope she does well. I still wish Emily Browning was playing the part of Bella though. Oh well. :)
