Lame in 2007: Jennifer Hudson (#14)
Lame because: In a few months, she'll appear on the Oscar broadcast to hand out the Best Supporting Actor award, which will prompt the question, "who was she again?" Due to an awesome, unstoppable wave of hype, Jennifer is indeed now and forever an Oscar winner. For acting. And now that the hype cloud has cleared, there must be some head-scratching going on. Okay, I don't get the negativity surrounding jennifer hudson after her oscar win. How pety is it to bash someone just because they won an award for something? Just because their not an established actress does not mean they can't be rewarded for doing a good job. I know the academy awards are just the result of a lot of hype, but should jennifer be damned into disapearing into the oscar hype history books just because her hype caused her to win an award? The truth is that she did do a good job, a really great job and she won the oscar. You may be right that it's gonna disapear, but until then, can't you just give the girl her moment? And Beyonce's got like 50 thousand grammys. She'll be fine.
