Absolutely nothing surprising, except the lack of Josh Brolin nomination. This awards season is going to be more boring than most, I predict. But why SEVEN films in the best drama running?! They couldn't pare it down at all?

How can "Once" be snubbed in the Best Original Song category? HOW!?!? And what, "Cholera" got a nom instead? Just sad and pathetic! I hope "Once" is remembered come Oscar time but I doubt it. Meh.

Jody Foster? That movie sucked donkey dung. Josh Brolin was robbed. I am glad Eastern Promises was nominated - Great movie. I saw Sweeney Todd yesterday. I'm not a big fan of musicals but that movie was really good.

Just lame that they forgot "Once" in Best Original Song or Foreign Film or Best Musical/Comedy! So sad, I'm sure Oscar will snub that wonderful film as well. It would be nice to see Glen & Marketa perfom on stage for the awards scene. Ah well. And when will J.K. Simmons get a nom, huh? What's it take? No Tommy Lee Jones for "In the Valley of Elah", his best perfomance to date? Gah.

How can a movie that no one has seen get nominated as the best movie of the year. The Great Debaters is not even being released until Dec. 25th. That one shouldn't even count. So there could be only 5 nominated best pictures.
