That 'Dark Knight' Trailer Is Now Everywhere, But Still Not Officially!

Mr. Stewart, did you happen to see the Imax clip? If you have seen it any worry about the Joker's dialogue should be put to rest.

Eh it got a round of applause at the theater I saw it at. But different strokes for different folks. Some people dig it and some don't. I wouldn't try to convince someone they're wrong about it. Heath looked great in the little bit I saw him onscreen, and the opening dialogue is certainly memorable.

Gonna be hard to tell exactly what we have on our hands till next July. But in comparison to the script for Spiderman 3, I'd have to think this would qualify as rock-solid. I doubt we'll be seeing Bruce Wayne playing the piano in a seedy bar.

Its one thing to watch the trailer, of which I've already viewed online. Why doesn't anyone post the prolouge? Do I really have to pay to see "I AM Legend"? And go to a out of the way IMAX theatre nonetheless? When someone makes the prolouge available online then I'll be happy.

Well you must like stupid movies like Spiderman 3 than if anything. The Dark Knight trailer in my opinion was epic and bad ass. You sure your watching the right trailer? What impressed me the most is how Heath Ledger can completely transform his image and change his vocals. His performance is brilliant and I thought the dialogue was amazing. What are you expecting? fuckin shakespeare dialogue? Sheesh man, and it's the first real trailer so we'll be seeing more soon enough.

Here here. As a fan of the comics, I don't see how it could be any more spot on -- the tone is perfect and the dialogue is classic Joker. Scary as hell and artful in a deviant kind of way.

Sorry, first thing that popped into my head.

Anyway, WB is ramping up the marketing with this film. They learned from their mistake with the outcome of Begins. They want a big budget block buster next summer. They even had had to scrape up a ragtag crew to get JLA on the move before the WGA strike just for the next year. They NEED the Dark Knight to succeed, and so they are pumping up the general audiences, and you only do that with action packed, compelling, and memorable trailers.. which this one certainly was. I don't know how you missed it.

The entire trailer was filled with memorable dialog from the Joker and others. From Ledger's almost dual-personality voice delivering the "To them, you're just a freak.. like ME!" line to Bale and Caine's exchange: "People are dying, what would you have me do?", "Endure. Be the outcast. ..."

And the scenes.. God, the scenes! The dry mouthed, slapping lip Joker should have been etched into your memory. Batman riding the Batman through the wideshot of that Gotham City street, whizzing past an unflinching Joker should have got some reaction out of you.

Once again, I don't know how you missed it. Watch it again in HD. Seriously, let's put a smile on that face.

Hmmm, sounds like somebody is a bit of a movie SNOB! This movie looks great. But I cant seem to find Heath Ledger any where in it. All I'm seeing is this Joker guy. You see, Jack Nicholson was so great as the Joker cause his performance was simply classic Jack Nicholson. You watch the first Batman and all you can see is the "Here's Johnny, Wendy give me the bat!" guy. Which is by no means a bad thing. But freaking Heath Ledger!?! So far it looks like this guy is gonna be giving us a classic Joker. Ive watched the "real" trailer like 6 times now and still for the life of me cant find Heath in the Joker! Thats how you know we should be getting something very special in July!

movie looks really cool except I hope Batman is not upstaged by Mr.J, its not overpopulated with characters and recast of Katie with Maggie Gyllenhaal is so weird and a crime.

I am going to have to agree with everyone else. This has to be one of the best trailers i have seen in a long time. Another thing trailers are only supposed to grab your attention to the film, not deliver the entire film to you. Would you prefer they put all the joker's lines in the film. Another thing is that christopher nolan writing along with his brother jonathon, means a well written film, "The Prestige" for instance.
