Best Picture (Drama)
Nominees:
Eastern Promises
Predicted Winner: No Country for Old Men
It's violent, powerful, beautiful to look at, and it might just go down as the Coen Brothers' greatest film to date. There's no need to flip a coin on this one; Cinematical staff members feel No Country for Old Men is a lock for best picture of the year.
Now it's your turn to vote ...

HAHAHAHAHA! You people do know what the HFPA is? Yes they may go for this for Best Picture like everyone else, but I doubt it. Atonement has the most nominations and you only have it winning score and actress, the later it will not win, not against Christy. They are so going for the foreign-ish film here (remember Babel)

I'm glad you didn't put TWBB as best film. I'm tired of all the praise its getting. Everyone around me after the film ended walked out wondering how we'd all gotten wrapped up in the hype... and I have yet to meet one person who ISN'T a reviewer say they like it. Honestly, NO REVIEWER has the balls to admit that maybe the film ISN'T as good as everyone wants it to be.
So thank you Cinematical... NCFOM will win and it should...
