I'll keep this short because I just did a Doomsday piece a few days ago and I don't want my geekish enthusiasm for post-apocalyptic action mayhem to be mistaken for Universal shillery ... but we now have a trailer. So if anyone out there thought that Neil Marshall was going to do some sort of rom-com or arthouse tear-jerker after wooing the genre fans with Dog Soldiers and The Descent -- feast your retinas on this hardcore lunacy.Clearly shooting for an Escape from New York / Mad Maxine vibe, the flick looks to be grade-A matinee madness all the way. Why does every moviemaker think BGFTF (Bad Guys From the Future) all have mohawks and body paint?
Still looks cool, though. I've been fixing on Killer Virus Drives Everyone Mad movies lately (28 Days, 28 Weeks, I Am Legend and any number of zombie knockoffs) and this will be just great to add to the list.

I saw this trailer last night and agree with the vibe. I'll be checking it out. It's got a frantic Bob Hoskins! It's about time Rhona Mitra got to do some action in her films....let's face it Skinwalkers had no teeth!

Rhona Mitra is well hot...but this looks a lot like an "Escape From..." or a "Mad Max" smashed up with a "28 Days Later". I dunno, I think I'm gonna have to wait for DVD on this one...
