Indiana Jones Trailer Will Screen on Valentine's Day?
Filed under: Action, Steven Spielberg, Trailers and Clips
We're all wondering what Steven Spielberg cooked up for this fourth installment, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, almost 20 years after the so-called Last Crusade. Can Harrison Ford stay up to the Indy challenge, being in his 60s and all? Will we buy Shia LaBeouf as his Mutt son? Will Cate, Ray, and Jim make this puppy worth it, or are some much-loved, mega-blockbusters better left in the past?Well, we won't find out for sure until May 22, when the film is released. However, the days are ticking away, and a trailer has to be on its way. According to the folks over at CHUD, it will be the day of love, February 14 -- on Entertainment Tonight. At least, they'll be teasing it. It's also said to be popping up in theaters that day. For folks adamant that they don't want to watch ET, or brave the theaters full of people smooching, you can stay up late and get ready to hit refresh as the 14th slides into the 15th and the trailer pops up on the film's official website.
For now, you can check out a tour of Indy's home over at the film's website. It's just a brief featurette where production designer Guy Hendrix Dyas takes you through the new home, and how things have changed since Raiders of the Lost Ark. [via Coming Soon]

You forgot the most important part: I was seriously dreading this film until I heard they were bringing Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) back. Throughout the series, there has never been a female love interest for Indy with as much perfect chemistry (sorry Kate Capshaw!). I'm really looking forward to revisiting this. If this is in fact the last Indiana Jones film, I'd like to see Indy and Marion finally end up together.

So they're going to skip the teaser trailer and give us a full length trailer right away? I kind of like the idea of seeing a thirty second teaser trailer and then seeing the full length trailer. Yet time-wise we probobly should have got that teaser either in summer or fall of 2007. Look forward to seeing some kind of trailer either way.

Count me in....I can't wait! But I wonder which Valentine's Day movie it would be in front of? Surely not that Ryan Reynold's crap, "Definitely, Maybe"!

I can't tell you who I am, but you've heard my name.
So listen up.
I'm going to say this right now and mark my words: Shia Labeouf's role ruins the entire film. It's not his acting - it's the role. As for the general tone, they might as well have a Disney logo before the credits.
Trust me.

Okay, I'm guessing your name's Adam! ;-)
Anyway, there are only so many people who are actually looking forward to this. I pretty much raced to the theater for the first three installments. But, with this one, it's just been so darn long, and "Last Crusade" was kind of a half comedy, half action movie.
Honestly, isn't almost everyone looking forward to "Iron Man" much more than Indiana Jones 4?

I love how it's taking so long just to get a teaser trailer out of these guys!
C'mon! The teaser trailer for December's "Star Trek" is already out.
Maybe it's because the "Indiana Jones" crew is older than those on "Star Trek." Explains why it's taking them so long!
