Oh yes, four exclamation points for the fourth installment in a fantastic franchise. The trailer we've all been waiting for is now online, and you can view it above (courtesy of Yahoo) -- Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I don't even want to say anything about the trailer; I almost want the first reaction to come from you fans. This is a biggie. This isn't just another trailer for just another movie. This is Indiana Jones. This is Harrison Ford. This is Steven Spielberg. This is George Lucas. This is ... something we've been waiting 19 years to see. (How lame am I?) So take a breath. Clear the next couple minutes. Sit back, relax and enjoy ...
... then tell us what you think.
He's back in theaters on May 22.

Wow, that's amazing.
I think it actually looks pretty good, the whole "damn, I thought i'd be closer" line seemed a bit... fakey, but other than that I can't wait!
Also, is it just me or are there too many explosions going on?
But anywhoo, I'll be there in line in May, I can't wait.

Actually, I don't know, maybe it's just a poor cut.
Notice that he uses that rope to swing onto the truck (In a VERY familiar room...) but when that line occurs, he's going backwards...
I keep going back and forth I guess, but i've seen enough to convince me that it'll at least be worth watching.

Indiana Jones is old but his sense of humour still intact!
The spirit of the trilogy is very present in this trailer.

Wow! There was a few things that looked a little questionable but so did the face melting in Raiders. Not that I'm overly critical, I'll be in the seats opening night. I absolutely can't wait

7 out of 10 in my book. I like a film that can poke fun at itself. If the action sequences hold up, this could be a great movie. And, the involvement of Spielberg can't hurt. Shia will pull in the younger demographic, and we old-timers who remember the originals will be in attendance. Should have a big opening.

It was underwhelming, at best. It wasted too much time on the nostalgia run-up, it gave us CGI stuff that seems to fly in the face of Spielberg's 'back to basics' mandate, it gave us no good lines for Marion or Spalko, and it seems to give Indy an athletic prowess heretofore unknown to me. Is he Parkour Indy too now? Also, Indy vs. a Cast of Thousands of Natives shouldn't do much for those who hold Part 2 to be the worst of the lot, and that looks like what we're in for here. 4 out of 10.

You know how tv shows or movie franchises "throw-in-the-towel" when they introduce a little kid brother, cousin, or son into the mix late in the shows run? It usually signals that things are going to suck. That was my concern (especially after George's 3 SW prequels) after hearing about Shia being in this installment. But at least this trailer was pretty exciting and has got me hoping! As long as there's no corny scene in the movie where Shia finds Indy's hat on the ground and there's some slo-mo shot of Shia's hand picking up the hat and following it to where he puts it on his own head. If they try to put some corny passing-of the-torch thing with him like that then...well, I'd like to say I'd given up on George Lucas a long time ago, but I'm sure I'll be lining up for the Star Wars Animated movie.

So is this a trailer or a teaser? Seems more like the latter with no real plot exposition and the recycled footage from the first 3 films. Odd, given how close we are to the release that a full trailer wasn't released.
My reactions: Aside from a few issues here and there, it looks great. The slow-mo hat-on-the-ground shot where Indy picks it up didn't work - too jerky. The whip crack in the warehouse was a little stock and the dialog seems mixed a little hot (but to their credit, I almost missed when Indy swings off the car, we see the crash twice, only the second time getting an audio cue - I hope the editing it a little tighter on the theatrical release, but odds are the film editor didn't cut this anyway). But it still didn't stop me from feeling like a 10 year old again and re-igniting my crush on Karen Allen.

Yeah, I caught that afterwards. Made the line a bit less cheesy. But hey, Indy's always been about those one-liners. Hopefully they still show Indy with some wear and tear though, his amazing swinging skills seem a bit... unrealistic.
WHEN'S MAY!?
