She's done the DUI thing. She's done the rehab thing. Now, Lindsay Lohan is mounting her comeback by posing completely nude -- as Marilyn Monroe -- in New York Magazine. The photos are meant to re-create Monroe's famous 1962 shoot, shot by Bert Stern, called The Last Sitting. Says NY Mag: "But the pictures are also remarkable for the raw truths they seem to reveal. In them, we see an actress whose comedic talents were overshadowed by her sex appeal, a woman who is cannily aware of her pinup status, yet is also beginning to show her 36 years. In many shots, she is obviously drunk. This was an unhappy time for Monroe."
On why she wanted to pose for the fairly scandalous (and provocative) photos, Lohan said, "I didn't have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn Monroe shoot? When is that ever going to come up." There are 10 photos in the batch -- most of which feature Lohan semi-nude, or nude from the waist up, draping herself in some sort of fabric. I'm familair with the Marilyn photos and have a fondness for them as an artist who loves pin ups. With Lohan's photo shoot all I see is a cheap imitation. She's no Marilyn by any stretch of the imagination. She's not even close. You can slap a wig on her head and make her pose, but that doesn't make her Marilyn.
If Lohan wants to get her career on track and be known for acting, which from what I've seen wasn't very good in the first place, this was a big mistake.

I went to middle school with the girl, and many of my friends went to high school with her, and the girl is utter trash. Both her lifestyle and her personality are absolute garbage and (since I'm having trouble getting the site to load) I really hope these pictures give me another opportunity to laugh at her. (this is the censored version of what I can say about the girl)

The difference between the two photos is that Marilyn Monroe looked stunning and Lindsay Lohan looks like a junkie whore.
Marilyn was 36 in her photos, Lindsay is 21 going on 52.
Gross.
Shame on NY Magazine for exploiting a demented girl who is clearly too high or too drunk 90% of the time to make rational decisions. Offering Lohan publicity in return for taking off her clothes is the equivalent of holding a sandwich in from on a starving homeless person and telling them to dance for it.

She's gorgeous. I think most people who criticize this are either fat, ugly, or just not happy with the way they look. She is honestly a beautiful woman. And I am not a Lohan fan or anything. I'm just a guy looking objectively on those pictures, and seriously, I would really give alot to have sex with her. Damn her tits are amazing.

She looks rough. She would look great if she was 35, but the fact is she is 21 or 22. I will admit that she does look a little better now she has put on a little weight but she is not stunning and gorgeous.
