11:45PM Thank God, it's almost done. Denzel Washington, looking smoking hot, is presenting. And the big winner is ... no surprise! No Country for Old Men is sweeping it up tonight. Good for them. WINNER BEST PICTURE: No Country for Old Men

11:40PM Coming up, Best Director. I'm still betting on the Coens to take this one. Scott calls it for Paul Thomas Anderson, but at least he's not threatening to kick any cats if PTA doesn't win. Scott ate BBQ with PTA once. I'm jealous. Don't you just love Martin Scorsese's voice? And ... the Coens win it! I bet No Country takes Best Picture too. WINNER BEST DIRECTOR: Ethan Coen and Joel Coen, No Country for Old Men

11:32PM Time for Best Actor. Helen Mirren even makes presenting an Oscar look good. I'm still betting Daniel Day-Lewis, so is Weinberg. And we're ... so right. Daniel Day-Lewis. And he so deserves it. ... WINNER BEST ACTOR: Daniel day-Lewis, There Will be Blood

11:27PM So, the Coens win screenplay for No Country, Cody for Juno. Who's gonna take Best Picture? My money is still on No Country for that one, but we'll see if there's an upset.

11:24PM Here we go with Original Screenplay. Will Diablo Cody take it? Here we go ... and Oscar goes to ... YES!!!!!! Diablo Cody for Juno! Hell yeah! Juno haters, you may now commence with your bitching and moaning about the world coming to an end. WINNER BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY: Juno, Diablo Cody

Weinberg's comment on Cody's win: "love the movie a lot, but it's not a better screenplay than Michael Clayton.

11:15PM Now Hanks presents Best Doc. I'll be shocked if it isn't No End In Sight. And the winner is ... HOLY SHIT! Taxi to the Dark Side!!! Wow. Congrats to Alex Gibney, I don't mind being wrong for him to win. He's great. WINNER BEST DOCUMENTARY: Taxi to the Darkside

11:12PM Tom Hanks presents Best Documentary Short. The winner is Freeheld! BEST DOCUMENTARY SHORT: Freeheld

11:11PM How come no one ever says "I'd like to thank my family, but I hate their guts, every last one of them, and they never supported my work, the bastards." I wanna see that acceptance speech.

11:10PM Amy Adams is presenting Best Musical Score. She is, as James Rocchi would say, "cuter than a pail of kittens." And the winner is ... oh, wow. Atonement. Didn't see that one coming. WINNER BEST ORIGINAL SCORE: Atonement

11:02PM Oh crap. The In Memorium ... Heath Ledger. And a lot of others too, but his still stings. Bergman, Laszlo Kovacs, Suzanne Pleshette, Deborah Kerr. I always sit here every year during this part feeling sad. It's the Oscar downer moment.

10:59PM Cameron Diaz is funny struggling to pronouce "cinematography." I have a mental picture of her practicing saying it over and over in the limo on the way over. WINNER BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY: There Will Be Blood, Robert Elswit

10:57PM Stewart brings Marketa Irglova back out to give her thanks ... nice, she got screwed out of her spotlight. Has that ever happened before? (Weinberg note: This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen on the Oscars. I don't know if it was Stewart's doing or whatever, but to have a winner come BACK OUT for their 90 seconds of well-earned attention ... I just thought it was a really cool thing to do.)

10:47PM Travolta is announcing Best Song .. (fingers crossed) YESSSSSS! My super-secret boyfriend Glen Hansard, and the amazing Marketa Irglova, win for "Falling Slowly!!!" Hell yeah! WINNER BEST SONG: "Falling Slowly" from Once, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova.

BONUS: Scott's cats narrowly avoid being kicked.

10:45PM Okay, Kim here. I loved Enchanted, really I did. And all three (THREE!) songs nominated from the film are fine, but none are as good as any of the songs from Once, which got one nomination. If "Falling Slowly" doesn't win Best Song, I'm going to drive to Philly and kick one of Scott's three cats.
