New 'Incredible Hulk' Pics!

Something tells me you won't like Edward Norton when he's angry. Oh yes, Empire grabbed two new photos from this summer's The Incredible Hulk; one of which shows Bruce Banner (Ed Norton) all kinds of pissed off. I think it's safe to say you wouldn't want to be around that guy when sh*t hits the fan. These are the first images to hit in quite some time, as marketing for the new Hulk flick has been limited. The first trailer is supposed to hit early next month, but in the meantime feast your eyes on the new image above. Empire also has a second image featuring a first look at William Hurt as General Ross, which you can view to the right of your screen.
Director Louis Letterier also talked about this version will differ from the previous Ang Lee film: "We didn't want to make a cerebral movie. We wanted full action, Hulk smashing stuff up. But Ed Norton's script has given Bruce's story real gravitas – Marvel has always made their superhero movies with great actors to make it tangible and Ed has nailed it here. Admittedly, I'm not the most adult director, but just because we're making a superhero movie, it doesn't just have to appeal to 13-year-old boys. Ed and I both see superheroes as the new Greek gods, so there's a classical undercurrent to Bruce's psycho-drama. It's Prometheus, Pandora's Box, Hercules...but with explosions." (Notice how he says "Ed Norton's script." Way to give Zak Penn the shaft on that one.)
The Incredible Hulk hits theaters on June 13.

I recall that one of the reasons Norton signed up for this was so that he could be added as a screenwriter, along with Penn. If Letterier is not name-dropping Penn's name in that article it's probably to add some sorta recognizable credibility to the film. The average reader of the mag won't know who Zack Penn is but will be impressed (and possibly more interested) that Norton also contributed to the script.

About... DAMN.... TIME!
I'm anxiously awaiting this film, but I think i've heard all I'd care to hear from the director.

Does the fact there there's no trailer yet bother anyone? Indiana Jones could come out without showing a picture or trailer or even mentioning itself and it would still make 300 million and even they have a trailer.
Norton did the same thing on American History X. That was an awesome movie...but that was a smaller character study. What if it didn't work on this one? This is all conjecture, of course...but it still doesn't bode well.
I mean...when they gave X-Men to Singer...he at least showed he could frame a shot and handle characters...Letterier...Transporter 2? Anyhow...why only a few pics...it comes out this summer...

Norton looks like the sidekick in Fright Night in the picture you included, where he's strapped to the medical table.

I saw the new trailer for the Hulk movie. What the Hell!!!!!... Hulk is once again a cartoon. Live action people running around, debris falling, and a green computer icon flexing his muscles. Didn't we learn not to try this from Ang Lee? Seriously, were the guys at Industrial Light and Magic busy? Because I'd wait another five years for ya' to add IL&A to your crew if it meant a better film. Craping get your craputer crapimation out of craphulk, sorry Hulk ...no offense.

Just saw the trailer for the new hulk!
i must say it looks awesome loved the first one own it in fact,
as a 270lb bodybuilder myself i can really appreciate movies like this
alot more than say the "average joe".
People need to keep in mind that he's a comic book super hero and as such he needs to look a certain way which they acomplished again and if people won't understand that then they are missing the whole point.
BTW if you don't think he looks real enough for you then i suggest you take a look at the current Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler and you'll realize this new hulk looks more real than you thought.
