New Wolverine Pic -- Snickety Snitch!
Filed under: Action, Comic/Superhero/Geek, Remakes and Sequels, Images

There's been like 15 million gazillion casting additions to the upcoming action flick, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Sure, they could all have bit parts, sort of like all the barely-seen mutants in the other X-Men films, but after the mess that was Spider-Man 3, I think we're all a little tense about putting too many heroes or villains into one pot -- especially when this sequel is supposed to focus on Logan. At least this new, smoky still, which is going to be part of Empire Magazine's Friday issue, has it right.
When it comes down to it, it's all about the man of Adamantium -- the angry, grunting, super-tough, 6-clawed man above. You might be able to see it bigger on the site (unfortunately, the Java pop-up wasn't working for me on either Firefox or IE), but if not, they say that the pic in the issue will be "mahoosive." And I just want to thank P, the guy who used to always mimic the Wolverine sequence in Mallrats, until I re-watched Kevin Smith's film and fell for it, then starting watching X-Men to see the man behind the dance. It was well, well worth it. Wolverine's slashing dance will hit theaters May, 2009.

Just to warn everyone, do NOT buy Empire Magazine. I recently bought an issue on a whim (And to get a free Indiana Jones poster), and quickly realized it was a mistake. $10.00 cover price for the same amount of pages in any other mag. Then, it's fully a European mag, so all of the release dates are wrong, and overall, the magazine has no content worth reading.
I didn't know any of this when I bought it because it was in a black plastic bag. So, if that isn't enough to stop you from buying it, go right ahead...

Why are so many film critics whining about the number of villians a movie has? The Spider-man 3 even show how the villians came to be and then together in lots of action. The X-Men briefly did so and then a very climatic battle scene.
So what is the complaining about?
