I can't believe both he and Todd McCarthy (Variety) hated this movie so much. Did they see something different than we saw? Did they not sit with the roaring audience that we sat with?
I thought it was one of the funniest movies of the year, and certainly the best comedy I've seen in a long time.
Scott, you really need to post your review to RottenTomatoes soon, to counter their idiocy.

Man of the Year is a good movie...though it's not exactly a comedy, as it's always promoted to be.

I wouldn't consider Man of the Year a comedy. Either way, it's the only movie I've seen more than five minutes of on this list and that makes me proud. I do everything I can to avoid this type of crap. I'm glad I've done so.
I've seen five minutes of: Black Knight, Kung Pow (I was forced to), and Uptown Girls.
I'm proud of me.

i'd suggest adding Corky Romano to that list.
$15 and 86 minutes of my life I can never have back.
I was so traumatised I now approach all movies labelled comedy with fear.
