Cinematical was just handed this exclusive poster for the film War, Inc. (click on the image to enlarge), starring John Cusack, Hilary Duff, Marisa Tomei, Joan Cusack, Dan Aykroyd and Ben Kingsley. Now is that one helluva cast, or is that one helluva cast? Word has it this one is in the vein of Grosse Point Blank, which was another fun little flick starring the male Cusack. From the synopsis: "War, Inc. is a a political satire set in Turaqistan, a country occupied by an American private corporation run by a former US Vice-President (Dan Akroyd). In an effort to monopolize the opportunities the war-torn nation offers, the corporation's CEO hires a troubled hit man, played by John Cusack, to kill a Middle East oil minister. Now, struggling with his own growing demons, the assassin must pose as the corporation's Trade Show Producer in order to pull off this latest hit, while maintaining his cover by organizing the high-profile wedding of Yonica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff) an outrageous Middle Eastern pop star, and keeping a sexy left wing reporter (Marisa Tomei) in check."
War, Inc. arrives in theaters (in limited release) on May 23.

John Cusack is not the only alumni from Grosse Pointe Blank... Joan played his secretary and Aykroyd the rival hit man.
And if this movie is half as good as GPB, I'll be watching.

Let me gues. The Americans will be portrayed as evil warmongers and the Middle East people misunderstood freedom fighters. Give me a break! Another big flop at the box office. Hollywood, please save your money by making biased films on the Middle East crisis and do something constructive with the money.

Evil war mongers via misunderstood freedom fighters?!- what a lot of garbage- more like greedy opportunists who lied to the world about their motives for invading Iraq! Nobody suggests that the mess in both Iraq and Afghanistan has ever been portrayed as anything other than that and lets not forget it was America who was so gun-ho in their ill conceived arming of the Taliban in the first place. These movies may not be popular in America where lets face it your main stream news agencies dont exactly do you proud when it comes to indepth impartial coverage of the desperate situation youve got yourselves into- but films like Lions For Lambs etc whilst full of faults are better than nothing and at least present to the world a view of America trying to deal with the reality of being in an a war for oil thats gone totally wrong. You need to wise up mate !!!

It's a hell of a cast except for... Hilary Duff. I don't know why studios think they can get away with surrounding a pop star with good actors and think people will seriously accept it. Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro are in a movie together soon... oh yeah, and 50 Cent is in it too. Think it's winning an academy award? Think anyone will remember that or this movie in a year?

So you think Al Pacino and Robert DE Niro start where? u think they born huge actors...? someone has to give the chance to new actors to prove they're good.
And Hilary Duff has talente, she's not only a popstar shes an actrees...
Thanks John Cusack for giving her this chance!

@whatever - yeah, and Pacino and DeNiro had disney shows, too, right? This isn't taking a chance on a talented unknown, it's throwing a pop star at a project to get more eyes on it.

If this is a war for oil, then please explain how oil is going for over a hundred bucks a barrel.
And the trucker's union anxiously awaits the answer, as diesel is even more costly than gasoline.

uh, okay...
The Bush family has been involved in the oil business for over a century.
Does that do it for you?

It wont be seriously accepted since it isnt a serious movie. I agree, H Duff is in the movie only for the wrong reasons. What a crock. People will see it since it is different.
Many that I know wont see it since they dont believe whats going on. Hey, I am not a liberal - but I am open to seeing what is happening and am willing to listen and form opinions afterwards.
