New Wall*E Photos To Gaze Upon

There are spies everywhere! There was a
Pixar: 20 Years of Animation exhibit in Finland, and it was chock full of pictures from the upcoming
Wall·E. They are all collected over at
ComingSoon.net, and the only reason I picked this one is that fantastic photo of Wall·E's eyes in the middle, on the far right.
Even Finland has better film exhibits than my home town. What the hell? I'd love to see a Pixar exhibit.
Anyway, enjoy all the photos of Wall·E's world. There's no spoilers as far as I can tell, just a glimpse of the incredible detail that we expect from our favorite animation studio. I cannot wait to see this movie, and there isn't a soul I know who isn't bewitched by it.
Wall· E opens on June 27th, at which point we will enjoy world peace as we all bond together in our love for a robot. It could happen!

You guys are aware that another family movie is coming out this summer as well, right? Kung Fu Panda? And it looks good. Wall-E may indeed be a smash hit, but how about some love for Jack Black?

Jack Black can drive me nuts, depending on the role, but he looks kinda funny as the Panda. the trailer for that wasn't funny at all though.
WallE will triple Panda's box office at least. You heard it here first.

Saying that Wall-E will triple Panda's box office isn't actually going out on a limb.
And my post isn't about which one is better. It's about how much does Cinematical get paid to not give Panda any airtime.

As the author of the post, I can say it is absolutely nothing. And since I snagged the photos off Superhero Hype, who themselves received it from a lone Finnish photographer, I can safely say that Pixar was in no way responsible for the spread of information.
It's pretty revolutionary, I know, but I actually wrote about Wall*E because I wanted to.
I've seen the Kung Fu Panda trailer and thought it was dumb -- however, if I saw anything newsworthy on it, I would certainly post it. So far, I haven't seen anything new.

Denver, hell hole of art. We have nothing to see, ever. Ok, we did get 1/2 of the Titanic exhibit, but the rest remained packed in the basement because we didn't have room, and we did have Body Works. Plastic people insides. Blech. I want Pixar and Lord of the Rings Costumes, The Pink Ribbon Dress tour and all those Egyptian artifacts we've missed. I feel very deprived.
Thank goodness I can see movies and especially Wall*E!

C'mon now, Kung-Fu Panda looks pretty damn funny. "Whachu gonna do about crazy feet?" Just cause Wall-E looks incredible doesn't mean we've got to call any other animated film "dumb". One may end up being pretty good, and the other may end up being earth shattering. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Ok Elisabeth, let me restate. I'm aware you aren't financially rewarded for not featuring Kung Fu Panda. I realize you write your own articles. Here's the thing: in a crazy scheme to make money, the makers of these movies we're referring to are hoping we'll bring our CHILDREN to the movie. And buy the toys. And the video games. To steal a quote I saw somewhere: Pretty revolutionary, eh? So while Kung Fu Panda may indeed be well beneath your intellectual interests, my kids laughed all the way through the trailers they saw. In the end, that's what matters to me. The Wall-E trailers did not pique their interests at all, as their was not much there to spark an interest, unless a cute robot counts.
As the father of two children, sometimes I'm forced to participate in events that I do not find amusing. Those are the times I remind myself that I'm not the most important person in the world.
Pretty revolutionary, I know.

I'm glad your kids liked the trailer. There's some early reviews over at AICN if you're interested, but that's the first thing I have seen from the film. So you can picture a vast conspiracy of Wall*E and self-important writers crushing the film, but it's not true. The marketing department for Kung Fu has been asleep at the wheel, it would seem.

Ah, there's hardly anything that doesn't rock about Finland.
