Monday Morning Poll: Best Summer Blockbuster Trailer?

It's beginning to look a lot like summer blockbuster season everywhere you go.
I've heard the words "calm before the storm" mentioned more times in the past week than I have all year. That's because it's almost April, which means the official start to the summer movie season is only one month away. One month! That's it! Are all of you as excited as we are? (Don't all stand up and cheer at the same time.) Anyway, pretty much all of the big summer flicks have released trailers by now (with the exception of The Mummy 3 ... and maybe something else that I'm forgetting -- it is Monday after all).
We've seen trailers for The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Speed Racer, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Incredible Hulk, WALL-E, Prince Caspian, Hellboy II, The X-Files, Wanted, The Happening, Hancock ... and so on. Of course, some films have been a little more aggressive than others -- like Iron Man (which comes out first), WALL-E (a few trailers, teasers and a very early viral campaign) and The Dark Knight (one teaser, one trailer and 50 billion viral sites). Indy's shoveled out a bunch of videos, as well as a trailer, and The Incredible Hulk has given us one trailer and a few images. One imagines all of these films will ramp up their marketing as their release dates draw closer.
But here's our question today: Which summer blockbuster trailer pumped you up most to see the film? Feel free to answer the poll below or write in your favorite in the comments section. (Me? I'm going with The Dark Knight.)

Arguably the greatest caption ever written. Well done!

As much as I am looking forward to Iron Man, Indiana Jones, Prince Caspian, WALL-E and the X Files 2: The Truth is We Don't Have A Title, I believe The Dark Knight will just rule supreme.
Batman Begins was an astonishing comic book-to-movie film and everyone (well anyone with half an ounce of taste) thought it was excellent - especially as no-one really thought it was going to be anything.
The Dark Knight, on the back of the unfortunate death of Heath Ledger, the switch with Maggie Gyllanhall and then the usual: Michael Caine, Christian Bale, Aaron Eckart etc etc means it will have star power, news exposure to bring people in.
Not to mention the oodles and noodles of fans going to see it.

I was hard press to chose Iron Man and TDK. But TDK with no qualms. It is "Batman Begins" set the STANDARD for comic book movies.

So far as my own anticipation goes, The Dark Knight is obviously as high as any movie could possibly get. The trailer was awesome, but I would've been there opening day no matter what. On the other hand, the Wall-E trailer really got me excited. I was going to see Wall-E no matter what, but my anticipation level was most enhanced by the Wall-E trailer, so that gets my vote.

Save yourself the $8.50 and go rent Short Circuit 2.

I might have been interested in Iron Man, but the trailers put my interest off the charts. Speed Racer comes in second, moving my interest from zero to, yeah, pretty interested. Yes, I'm really interested in Dark Knight, but it's not because of the trailers, and I'd see Indiana Jones anyway, my husband would see to that.

The Number One most awesome trailer belongs to IRONMAN. Hellboy II and Wall-E early trailers are also pretty great and make me want to see those movies. Prince Caspian looks good as seen through the trailer. Hulk and Speed Racer look cheesy and I won't be spending dollars on those. Joker still looks hideous and is there even a X-Files trailer out there?

wut kind of poll is that?
by including this, you're basically inviting and making everyone vote for dark night
its totally biased in favor of TDK, which i think will NOT make it past Indy in the long run....

Like many others, I doubted Heath Ledger could play the joker, and the trailer completely changed my opinion. For that reason alone I had to pick The Dark Knight for having the best trailer.
Much like ML stated above, Speed Racer went from zero interest to a must watch, based solely on the psychedelic visuals and cheesy dialog. "Racing is the only thing I know how to do, and I gotta do something" kills me every time. So in terms of changing my opinion, the Speed Racer trailers did the most.
The Iron Man trailers only showed me that RDJ needs a comedy written for him. I was with the movie 100% until the suit actually appeared, then it veered dangerously into "generic summer blockbuster".
As far as Indiana Jones And The Absurdly Bad Title goes, who was crying out for this? Have we learned nothing from the abominations that were Die Hard 4/Star Wars Ep.1-3/Terminator 3? Sometimes things are better left as they are. Personally I can't think of any beloved series that was revived more than 10 years later without completely sullying the originals.

Right, so basically this is going to be the year of the comic book movie? Well aside from the new Indy flick, which will probably suck, and Wall-E which seems like too much of a Short Circuit knockoff to be very interesting.
