Ooooh, boy. Over on Stephenie Meyer's website today, they posted a link to some new behind-the-scenes Twilight video over on MTV, and what I saw on the video looks very promising. They have footage on there of the filming of the fight scene between James and Edward, and some chats with a few of the stars of the film, and I have to say, it seems like director Catherine Hardwicke and her cast seem to really "get" both what Twilight is about, and their responsibility to fans of the series to get it right.
Go on now, take a look at the video for yourself, and let me know what you think about what you've seen of how they're putting together the film so far. Does it seem to you that Hardwicke and the cast are bringing the story to life in a way that Twilight fans will embrace? I think so ... the more I see, the harder it is to wait until December to see it! Weigh in with your own thoughts.

Oh wow, I'm so glad you know what your talking about before you write an article. It's very refreshing.
I'm so pleased with the way Catherine and Summit are doing the movie. It looks like they may very well come close to capturing the magic of the book on screen. I have high hopes for this movie, and I really don't think that I will be let down.
By the way, the Twilightmoms love you!

So far this is the only "book to movie" that I'm looking forward to what they have changed!! Or added or anything like that! I almost passed out when i watched the clip! Then of course I had to call everyone I knew so they could shared in the excitement. Can't wait for December!!

Personally, I think, there could be no better director for this movie. The expecations couldn't be higher, but Catherine Hardwicke just seem to know exacty what do to...as well as the whole cast of course. This video is very promising, my heart stopped beating and I had goosebumps. I just can't wait for december...The waiting gets harder and harder. But it is truly worth it!

I just LOVE the video. I mean this film has all the hallmarks of crossing the 500,000,000 mark in box office so I really hope it comes out as good as it looks here as a sequel should be a shoe in.
LOVE the cast except Jacob. Will see on that one.

i am so excited for this movie. i was wary at first b/c the movies arenever as good as the books and they usually slaughter the storyline, plots and characters, but i agree i think they really get it and want to do right by the book. As long as the pivotal scenes are there, like the accident with tyler, the restaurant in port angeles, the cafeteria table convos, and of course THE MEADOW i wont pick it apart too much lol. this is due out 3 days after my bday (how did they know LOL). I think this movie will be phenomenal in its own right. I watched this clip a few times and i think my bones went mushy. I couldnt breathe and had to scream, which really freaked my 2 yr old out!! I seriously got cold chills!! i need to know if they will sell tickets early b/c Dec 12 is gonna be crazy! I really think that this will break records and make nightly news b/c of the astoundly huge fanbase!! we love us some edward n bella!!
