Everyone who took part in last week's competition, myself included, failed to foresee The Forbidden Kingdom outdoing Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but the martial arts actioner was the clear winner. Prom Night held on to third place, content in the knowledge that it had already earned back its $20 million budget last week. Here's the rundown:

1. The Forbidden Kingdom: $20.9 million
2. Forgetting Sarah Marshall: $17.3 million
3. Prom Night: $9.1 million
4. 88 Minutes: $6.8 million

What's It All About: Tina Fey plays an executive dying to be a mother, and when she finds out she's unable to conceive, she must turn to a flaky but fertile Amy Poehler
Why It Might Do Well: Fey is awesome on 30 Rock, and though I usually get flack for saying this, I thought the Fey/Poehler Weekend Update team on SNL was one of the best in the show's history. And with a supporting cast that includes Sigourney Weaver, Steve Martin and Maura Tierney, I am so there. The 88% fresh rating from Rottentomatoes.com is icing on the cake.
Why It Might Not Do Well: The poster is so darn zany I could just puke.

Prediction: $18 million


Deception
What's It All About: An accountant played by Ewan McGregor is invited by a new acquaintance (played by Hugh Jackman) to join an exclusive upper class sex club. McGregor's character soon finds himself the chief suspect in a multi-million dollar heist and in the disappearance of a female club memeber.
Why It Might Do Well: If you check out the trailer, Jackman has got the sinister going on.
Why It Might Not Do Well: McGregor is trying to do the Clark Kent thing here by putting on a pair of glasses and hoping we'll believe he's a nerd. It's not really working for me.
Number of Theaters: 2,000
Prediction: $6 million

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay
What's It All About: The two pot loving pals from 2004's Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle return. This time around they are running from the authorities who think they are terrorists for trying to smuggle a bong onto a flight to Amsterdam.
Why It Might Do Well: The first movie was good dopey fun, and it looks like we're in for more of the same and Rottentomatoes.com is giving it 78% fresh. Besides, watching Neil Patrick Harris reprise his role from the previous film (in which he played himself as a stripper-loving party animal) should be worth the price of admission.
Why It Might Not Do Well: This seems like the type of film that can easily offend those who are easily offended.
Number of Theaters: 2,400
Prediction: $14 million

While both of this week's new comedies have promise, I suspect a pregnancy movie will have broader appeal than stoner humor. With that in mind I've enlisted the help of all those people in my office who delight in those pools where everyone has to guess when a pregnant co-worker will pop. Here's what we came up with:
