The New 'Incredible Hulk' Trailer!
Filed under: Action, Universal, Movie Marketing, Comic/Superhero/Geek, Remakes and Sequels, Trailers and Clips

It's here, in glorious Quicktime, and not a moment too soon for a June movie. Head over to Apple to watch it. This trailer is a vast improvement on the first, shades of the television show abounding everywhere. And this is definitely going to be much more action packed than Ang Lee's version. Erik Davis was right on the money in his NYCC report -- read his take on the trailer here.
I can't help but feel it was too long though -- between the two trailers, I feel like I've seen the whole movie, barring 18 minutes of that purported 20 minute fight between Abomination and Hulk. The encounter (pictured above) between Tim Roth and the Hulk is absolutely priceless, though. I won't say what it is and spoil it -- but I can't say I haven't wanted to do the same to a few of Roth's nastier characters.
Eager to hear your take, as always. The Incredible Hulk opens June 13th.

I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but that new trailer is really good. I really hope the movie ends up being a smash hit and shoves a big green fist down the throats of all the trash talkers. That trailer is ten times better than the first.

I agree that this is a much better trailer. I especially liked the few strains of some familiar theme music at the end. Nice.
I still won't go out of my way to see this. CGI for main characters just doesn't work for me. Same with I Am Legend. Absolutely hated the CGI zombies. Gollum was great, but it was mainly due to Serkis, not the actual CGI.
Oh, and the film is just lit too evenly, at least from what the trailer shows. It's lacking mood. I will definitely rent it though.

Hulk's got a pretty leading lady though. Batman is blind to be stuck with pornstar Maggie Gyllenhaal who looks mannish, old and very much like the crossbred of Clayface and Mr.J.

They haven't nailed the look of the hulk yet in my book, he still looks like he belongs in a CGI Movie, not a film set in "our reality"
The actual film itself looks pretty cool but i just cant seem to get past the roger rabbit feel of it

This trailer was much better... now it looks like a legitimately crappy movie instead of an incredibly sucktastic sci-fi movie of the week.

I really don't understand why the Ang Lee Hulk gets so much hate. I thought it was a poetic, deeply moving portrait of the human condition (plus some Stan Lee patented melodramatics). The story of Bruce Banner is of a man who contains his emotions so far down - and so effectively - that he ends up choking himself, his feelings. He eventually gets to a point that he can no longer contain these things he's been keeping bottled up for years, and they start to emerge - rupture - from his subconscious - made flesh as Hulk. Hulk is the physical manifestation of his anger, his rage, his jealousy, his passion, his joy - every emotion you can imagine. Lee's portrayal of this tortured psyche was intricate and lyrical. This new "Incredible" Hulk smacks of cheap summer movie fare, a kind of throw-away looking flick, with what looks to be no cohesive sense of style or "feel".
I had high hopes for this film when I heard that Edward Norton was involved, along with William Hurt, Tim Roth, and Tim Blake Nelson. But this trailer sucks ass, and does the film no favors.

The new hulk trailer looks Great! CGI who cares! just the confrontatiion between the hulk and Abomination is worth the ticket..
The expression of the Hulk,,transformation scene, you have to admit much different from the Ang lee version...
The tv series was great and I believe it will be a great tribute to the late Bill Bixby..

I totally agree with Rico.. Unfortunately, there are those who are not willing to give the movie a chance based on the two trailers..
The special effects look awsome but one cannot dismiss the substance of the movie.. I believe this version of the movie goes more in depth about the character of Bruce Banner, his challenges as a man who struggles with anger..

Tim Roth would have been utterly killed. If you're of normal size, think of yourself kicking a duck in the chest.
Also...yeah, this trailer looks like crap. The CGI is completely awful. I've heard that R&H shipped most of it to India, and this is what they're getting back. I'm not sure why no one hipped them to the fact that skin is translucent. Ah well. I've also heard that certain effects houses are literally working around the clock to try and fix it.
Poor Hulk...no love.

Not sure why the reviewers here are saying this is an improvement. It's the exact same fake, garbage CGI animation that we saw last time - only in a longer trailer with more varied scenes. The ultimate fact is -- if The Hulk looks like he is made of Playschool plastic and has no real weight, gravity or force -- the entire MEANING of the character is lost.
You just have to look at the still image that accompanies the story to see how bad the modeling and texturing is. Now imagine that 24 times per second. Not good.
Hulk's muscles and skeleton look like they were drawn by a first-year art school major while stoned in anatomy class. And his hair looks like it was drawn on with a Sharpie. Puh-lease!
Such a waste of an opportunity. Would it have killed them to explore some non-CGI alternatives to (at the very least) mix in with their graphics?
Plus - Ed Norton's weasely face makes me long for Eric Bana's masculine good looks. Not that THAT Hulk was any better -- but at least you got some eye candy. Watching Ed Norton play Bruce Banner is like watching someone's dopey, scrawny, weakling cousin try to bully up to the neighborhood tough kid. Again - puh-LEASE!

The CGI for the new film looks terrible! Even worse than the first film. It is hard to buy into this when the central character looks like a well-enhanced cartoon!
