Captain America in 'The Incredible Hulk'?

Director Louis Leterrier swears up and down that Captain America makes an appearance in The Incredible Hulk -- but at this point, it just isn't clear how you may see it. In an interview with Collider, Leterrier declared that it was just an Easter Egg and refused to give any hints as to where it would appear in order to keep the fun. "It's an Easter egg. It's not like oh, it's Captain America and it changes everything. It's still a Hulk movie, but it's really Captain America and it's there, you'll see. It's the real deal. You have to look for it."
But in an interview with SOS Hollywood, Leterrier revealed it was an actual scene that had landed on the cutting room floor. "There's a point when Bruce Banner gives up on his quest for the cure and decides to kill himself. So he travels far North and reaches the Arctic Circle. You might have seen bits of it in some of the promos. The result was a very dark and strong scene, which Marvel, me and everyone else considered to be too hard to young audiences to take, so we've cut it. Having that said, when Bruce arrives at his destination he meets up with Captain America! At some point this week, we will make it available on the internet – but I cannot tell you where or when – and the material will definitely be on the DVD."
It is possible the scene could end up after the credits roll, like the Nick Fury cameo in Iron Man (which was also added after press screenings). But as of now, it seems to exist only in the Easter egg laden opening credits. But I'm wondering who the heck is playing Captain America in this cameo -- or if we only see him from the back in a nonspeaking role?

He actually elaborated on this a little further: It's actually in a scene that was supposed to take place in the beginning of the movie in the arctic, but it was cut and so apparently it's going to be released via the internet at some point in the coming weeks.

I found out he is in a painting and on blue ray and dvd the scene is going to be in there.

Odin, Lis actually mentions that in her post too.
I don't know what to think. I've seen the film and Cap isn't in it. Perhaps they're keeping a mysterious scene or whatever out of the press screenings (like with Iron Man), but who knows. They do mention WWII experiments and in the opening credits you see the name Nick Fury. Keep an eye out ...

Saw the film at a sneak peek, there isn't anything after the credits. The crowd was disappointed :)

Ok, just based on the canon of Captain America and what was leaked about the cut scene... possible that when Banner goes north he sees Cap frozen in a chunk of ice?

I think it is pretty awesome how they are linking together all of the marvel produced movies, even if it is just in minor nods to the fans. I hope this comes out on the net soon and we don't have to wait untill the DVD.

I think it is entirely possible Cap could be in the ice -- when I read it initially, it seemed like Leterrier was suggesting the two characters MET, and that Hulk was dissuaded from ending his life.
Captain America frozen makes much more sense, continuity wise, but that begs the question as to why Hulk would just leave him there! :P
I am REALLY curious to see the scene, anyway, because Leterrier's own description is so baffling. I hope it does leak on the Internet before long. We will probably all be incredibly disappointed.

I have seen on line that in the beginning of the movie when Bruce is in Brazil that he is on line looking for a cure and he is talking to someone called "Mr. Blue". Could Mr. Blue be our favorite Red White and Blue Patriot Captain America???

Mr. Blue will eventually become the Leader, The doctor that treats Betty Ross is Doc Samson, The cryo containers bear the name of the lab that made the super soldier serum and the serum name is dropped many times. Stark played a part in the weapons used. Nick Fury's name is shown in the opening. The college student that captured the footage was "Mr" Magee (reporter from the TV show) and his buddy was Mr Jones, the boy that Bruce saved in the original comics who is now the Red Hulk.
The movie was okay. It was not great but it was better that Indiana Jones. I am one of the few people in the world that like Ang Lee's movie. I did hate the father being the Absorbing man and turning into a monstrous Amoeba...
There was nothing at the end of the credits.

well...cut scene or no cut scene...the super soldier serum is mentioned several times, as well as the project being developed during world war 2.....not only that but the name on the serum in storage is dr. reinstein (the same doctor that gave steve rogers his serum back in the day day)....so captain america IS in the incredible hulk

i am so very curious to find out who captain America is in hulk, i just watched it and was wondering who is captain America, i was thinking it might possibly be Mr blue, because in one of the scenes, mr blue fell on the floor and his head started getting really bubly and it was like getting big and small, and that was the last scene we see from mr blue, so that leaves us thinking, because he might of gotten a little bit of blood from the Bruce's blood, because he kept so many samples! OR, captain America could also be The hulks girlfriends boyfriend, because he is very strong and looks like a captain America to me, he might also possibly be the captain America, because just one scene we see him, and we don't hear from him again in the movie! i just cant wait till the avengers movie comes out!

Cap is in the movie (sort of) in the Pentagon just before Ross and Blonsky start to talk about the super soldier serum from WWII there is a portrait and the name on it is.....Steve Rogers.

I have been posting it on a few blogs but nobodys said anything yet'YES CAPTAIN AMERICA IS IN THERE'' it took me awhile to spot him but here it is I will tell you where.First go and type in G4 hulk interview its where the director is being interview by G4 when the part comes along and he starts talking about how he likes to go see a movie many times to spot diffrent things they will start showing a clip of the hulk when his fighting the abomanation as the director is talking and the scene is playing and he says in hulk you might see captain america himself look to the hulks right hand..which be be on your left side when facing the pc screen the Capatin is hiding behind the Hulks right hand which has a part of a cop car tore on it he leaps out and ducks down and then runs across it will take you many times of taken the scene back to see it over and over you will see the red and blue of Captains uniform and shield just keep at it and pausing it over and over and it will become aparent.Its very cool but hard to spot like and easter egg hunt they hind him behind hulks movements very well NO JOKE JUST TRY IT YOU'LL SEE cant belive noone else has seen it yet......

ok its at exactly at 2:58 to 3:01 just keep looking to the right of the hulk which is ur left of the screen you will see a blueish red flash run by thats him just keep looking over and over and pausing it between the seconds from258 on and it will become visible after a few time please let me know when you see him so I wont feel like the only one anymore...
