Did Darabont's 'Indiana Jones' Script Leak Online?

Well, this is an interesting find, Dr. Jones. Apparently, a PDF document claiming to be Indiana Jones and the City of the Gods, as written by Frank Darabont, has found its way online. There's no word yet on whether it's the real deal, and I haven't had the time to read through the whole thing, but it might be worth a look. To recap: Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) wrote an early draft of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Legend has it Steven Spielberg really liked his draft, but George Lucas did not. Thus, Darabont eventually left the project -- one he'd worked on tirelessly -- time went by, and David Koepp finally wound up with it.
But what happened to Darabont's unused script -- the one Spielberg apparently loved? Who knows. Some people say aliens took it one night when Darabont wasn't paying attention, while others believe it was buried with one of them rare crystal skulls in the mountains of Peru. Regardless, folks are saying it's now online and you can read it right here. I'd do it fast, though, because someday a crazy wild-eyed scientist or a kid (or an angry studio) might show up lookin' for that there script (which includes both Papa Jones and Marion, by the way).
Again, it could be an elaborate fake. Nevertheless, I suppose you now have something to read while on the shi .... ahem.
[Thanks IHoM]

Being a fan of the Lucas properties is very much like being in an abusive relationship.
- Long, Long, ago things were really good
- It's been bad for a long time
- He's continually taking advantage of me
- Deep down I know he's no good for me
- But I keep coming back for more...
- I know things will eventually get better (The Clone Wars for example).
If lovin' 'em is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Well I browsed through it and the truth it is pretty good plus they found a way to get Sallah and HENRY, SR. in the movie even if there part is really small, Just at the wedding it was cool to read they were in the script. Plus there is this cool horse part and would have loved to have seen that in the film. Well may be Ford would like to do a fifth movie some day.

I didn't get to it in time so if anyone knows of another link please post it. Truth be told, if Lucas hated it it was probably pretty good, definitely better than the final film. Lucas needs to be locked away so as not to destroy any more cultural icons. (And for all of you Lucas apologists out there, please enter the light of reality... the man has lost it!)

As a big fan of Darabont's I'm surprised to find that the script really isn't better than what was filmed. Indy is way out of character, and it starts to feel like a bad Bond film from the 70's for a while, with Indy stopping a sale of stolen plutonium, being attacked by a government assassin in a museum (in a scene straight out of Moonraker), then following a trail of clues, including the timeless classic key to a bus station locker. Nothing remotely resembling an archaeological mystery happens for something like 60 pages.
It's easy to see why Lucas rejected it.
