Bunch More 'Harry Potter 6' Photos Hit

November 21 is slowly inching closer, and Potter Mania is starting to heat up. Just in time for the Fourth of July, we've got a whole slew of new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince pics to enjoy. There are seven tasty shots over at USA Today, including the one above, plus another two over at Moviefone.
You're not going to see many drug and sex paralells in these pics, but there is the obligatory trio discussing some important fact (in this case, the potions book), the wonderful Dumbledore, Draco looking much tougher and ticked off, and well, hit the jump to see my favorite one of all.

Yes, the wonderful Luna Lovegood in her Spectrespecs. I just adore that girl and could watch her in a movie all of her own. And on a side note: Why can't they make 3D glasses look like those? Now THAT would be cool.
In this installment, those little tykes are now teens (16 to be exact), and they're reeling from all that was revealed in the Order of the Phoenix. Harry is working with Dumbledore to retrieve memories about Lord Voldemort, and is suspicious of Malfoy.
But to tie into that sex/drugs stuff, there is also a good deal of romance -- Harry gets a moment with Ginny, Ron gets some magic chocolates (It's one of the USA Today pics.), and Hermione talks love potions (also in the gallery). Oh, the thrills of hormones. It's kind of like Buffy -- the world might be in serious peril, but every once in a while you have to pause and have a date, or indulge in some romance.
Now, as much as I want to see this, I kinda wish they would push the release a little, so that we don't get that dreaded two-year hiatus.

Yeah, the movies keep getting messed up, and I'm hating it every time.
The last truly good Harry Potter movie was Chamber of Secrets, being that it was truer to the books than any of the other movies.

I'm gonna have to differ with Liqwid Zero and say that the last truly good (actually, great) Potter movie was Prisoner of Azkaban, which I think is the best of the series, as well as one of the best fantasy films ever made. In fact, I love each of the first three movies.
But Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix, while not bad movies, certainly weren't that good either; they felt rushed, confused, hurried, moving along in an almost perfunctory manner.
I really hope that Half-Blood Prince will be a return to form, or at least that Deathly Hallows will be a great two-part finale.

I find it interesting that Harry's glasses appear to have no glass in them.

It's probably because it's plain glass, with no prescribed magnification. Also, he's probably not staring into the sky, which would, more than likely, produce some glare.

Ah yes, it's snowing and Hermione and Harry look upset. This must be the death eater attack and burning at the Burrow during Christmas time that wasn't in the 6th book at all. Sometimes I wish I didn't love the books so much, then the movies might actually be exciting. Such a shame, oh well.

The picture that shows Harry and Hermione looking sad in the snow I think thats when katie gets cursed by the neckles, or when the burrow gets attacked? Either way I can't wait for Half blood prince to come out!!!!!! Trailer Please!!!!!!!!
