OMG! Are You Ready for the 'High School Musical 3' Trailer!?
Filed under: Music & Musicals, Disney, Fandom, Family Films, Trailers and Clips
Sorry, High School Musical fans -- the trailer isn't attached to this post, but I can tell you when you can lay your eyes on the singing school extravaganza. Coming Soon has thrown up a Disney press release for High School Musical 3: Senior Year. You won't have to go see some random movie to get a peek. Instead, you just have to lean back and relax in front of your television. The first look at the trailer will air on July 13, at 7:55 P.M. ET/PT, preceding an encore of Camp Rock. (Note: A bunch of other countries with Disney will get this as well -- Canada, Japan, UK, Australia, etc.) And there won't be a long wait before it hits the net -- Disney.com will start showing it 12:01 A.M. ET.
Oh, but there's more! Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will host the trailer, and include the song "Now or Never," which will be up on Radio Disney tomorrow.
And for those of you who groan at this news: beware! The teenyboppers will descend upon movie theaters to see this puppy on October 24.

Sweet. Hopefully "Senior Year" will be better than HSM 2.
I was one of those guys who would never watch the HSM movies ever. I hated them, but hadn't seen them.
Then because of the fact that I didn't like Camp Rock at all, I made a point to see if the HSM movies were any better. So I watched HSM 1, and loved it! It was really really good! Then I watched HSM 2, which was really bad. Disney tried to do the same thing again, but it didn't work. In the first one, the singing made sense, since the kids were making a musical. But in the 2nd one, they were just randomly singing while cooking and doing other things . And not all of the songs were good.
So hopefully Disney can redeem themselves with "Senior Year". They've got a bigger budget this time, so hopefully they'll use it. (though that doesn't necessarily mean the movie will be good)

well this is a musical, they try to get their message across with music; so if it wasn't planned and it was just real life; it's like they're talking to us, or each other but it's all in singing, and it just happens; but you'd never really see that happen in real life in a school yard where all of a sudden people start singing, and dancing all in sync.
it's just very positive, happy, motivating, and inspiring.
