You know, if that Batman Returns trailer had some better modern editing, I would definitely pick it over TDK.
You just can't beat that Danny Elfman score. You just can't

I don't see it on here...it was either Kilmer or Clooney though, and the tag line was "A city in danger, a ____ in ___, a partner in training and a hero in black." It was so deliciously cheesy, my 14-16 year old mind loved it. Still do ;-) Find that one, and it wins in my book!

My god, it is so striking how much the trailers for all the other Batman movies suck so badly. Not just the Schumacher ones, but even the Burton ones.

Thank god for the new, serious, real, scary Two Face. Those Schumacher films were killing it for me.
The Dark Knight does it for me, it's not just the day's craze.

Um, you forgot Mask of The Phantasm. Animated Series FTW. And get that abortion of a Catwoman movie off the list. Oh and Jim Carrey is the the perfect Riddler, Hands Down. Just wish the rest of that movie would have been decent.

Wow. When Elfman's score comes in on BF I almost thought it was a pretty good movie. Then it ended, and I saw Joel Schumacher's name.
Not even Elfman's score could help that B&R trailer. "We're going to need a bigger cave" Ugh.
Dark Knight wins.

Catwoman gets in there but none of the animated films (Mask of the Phantasm, Return of the Joker)? Fail. I expect Heath Ledger to blow me away but Mark Hamill is to date my favorite Joker!
