Poll: What Are You Watching -- 'Pineapple Express' or 'Traveling Pants 2'?

Hey, when did the LA Times become the new Cinematical (ahem ... and ahem)?
We've got such craziness this week with two big summer films landing in theaters on Wednesday instead of Friday. No, you don't have some fancy holiday weekend coming up (sorry cubicle dude), but the Olympics do begin later this week, and, well, some of us really want to get our Women's Swimming 100m Butterfly on. That said, those mid-weekers have a choice between the weed action/comedy Pineapple Express and the sober adventure/comedy/romance/jeans-wearing sequel The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
I imagine each film has a completely different audience, with one attracting stoners, fans of Judd Apatow-produced content, comedy nuts and the Girls Obsessed with Seth Rogen Association of America (or GOWSRAA), while the other looks to bring in pre-teen and teenage girls (and their parents) who like to watch other girls come of age and explore the rest of their lives ... or something like that. Word has it each flick is worthy of your nine bucks (I've seen Pineapple and can vouch for its coolness), so it's really about which movie fits your cinematic tastes.
So, what are you watching: Pineapple Express or The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2?

What if I'm going to see Pineapple Express AND see The Dark Knight again?

Good call, but there are several different scenarios and I don't want the poll to be too long, so in that case you just leave a comment and write in your option. Everyone wins!

first of all..does anyone really care about EITHER of these..the fact that they made a "sisterhood 2" triggers my vomit reflex. (but isn't surprising)..and the fact that Seth rogen is all of a sudden a comic genuis, triggers the same reflex..is it just me, or is he just terrible, i mean really, evrything that he has been involved in just isn't funny. Darknight should reighn supreme for a long while, if crap like this continues to flood theatres!

Yes! I am one of the 14 people who have voted "Both!"
Pineapple Express is far and away my first pick, and the one that I will definitely be seeing this weekend (I hope I can see it today, but I'm not sure). I love Seth Rogen and James Franco, and it looks hilarious. The ten minutes they showed at Comic-Con just made the flick even more endearing.
Yet I enjoyed the original Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, so I'd like to see the sequel. When my best friend gets back from her trip, I'm going to see it with her so that I can retain at least some semblance of masculinity when buying the tickets at the box office (sadly, this is true).

My wife will probably want to go see "Sisterhood" ever since she watched the first one, and I don't really have a high enough interest for another Apatow flick, so it looks like I'll be joining the rest of the "teenage-girls-coming-of-age-and-finding-themselves" crowd tonight.
I've already seen The Dark Knight 3 times. Enough.

I'll probably see all 3 films on DVD, None them seem worth paying full price theatre ticket. I'm not cheap, I just prefer to see more compelling films in theatres.

Like, dude, like, Pineapple Express. Really? How many brain cells do I have to kill off to think the concept is funny. A stoner ACTION movie. Whoa! Cause smokin' dope and doin' stuff, what could be cooler?
Almost anything.
Except Sisterhood yada yada yada... Not even my wife thinks that is worth the energy to yawn about it.
The Dark Knight is good, but I think I've plumbed all the depth I can from it after 2 viewings.
Looks like a dead weekend at the theaters.

Went to see Sisterhood and was surprised to see the theater, and time I went packed full! I think it may do better than some think at least equal it's 40 mill haul from the previous movie.
