Are These the 31 Most Badass Star Wars Moments?

I'm not sure what the difference is between a bad ass Star Wars moment, a great Star Wars moment and a memorable Star Wars moment, but something tells me the list of 31 Star Wars moments on Galactic Binder is a little bit of all of the above. They're calling it The Top 31 Bad Ass Star Wars Moments, so we'll stick with that for now. And while I certainly don't agree with the placement of a some scenes on this list, as well as the lack of a few classic scenes from the earlier films, I will say that, all together and across six films, we're looking at some very awesome movie moments.
Surprisingly, they include a whole bunch of scenes from the prequels, and, in doing so, leave out such favorites as the battle on Hoth in Empire Strikes Back, or the Ewok battle in Jedi. They mention the scene in which Leia chokes Jabba the Hut in Jedi (#25), but not the scene where Luke does the back flip off the plank, grabs his light saber in mid air and lands fighting his ass off. LOVE that scene. Oddly enough, they also mention the scene where Leia first appears in her gold bikini as being bad ass, but NOT the subsequent scene with Luke fighting the rancor. Strange ... but okay.
Anyway, their number one scene is the "I love you" bit between Han and Leia before he's frozen, whereas I would've chosen the scene pictured above. In my opinion, it's one of the greatest mid-point reversal/plot twists ever. On their list it's number 14. Bah! No. 19 on that list is wrong. Vader isn't confirming the kill of Kenobi, he's looking for the body, wondering where it is.

Since I don't believe that episodes I - III were bad ass (except in their combined effort to sell shit) I must say that this list is decidedly lacking any bad assness

I guess my top one is when Vader's talking to the bounty hunters, instructing them to capture(i think it was the Millenium Falcon and it's crew. He proceeds:
"I need them alive(looks at Boba Fett)...no disintegrations!"
He might as wel l have said "This means you, Fett!"

My list would have to be in the thousands long before I got to any "bad-ass" scenes from I thru III. There's a bajillion in New Hope alone. The scorched parents, the first time we see Darth Bad-Ass, blowing up planets, space dog-fights, the moment Luke says he wants to be a Jedi like his father, Han shooting first, blowing up a friggin' death star, the whole fight scene leading up to the DS's demise, "We're all fine here, now. How are you?", sneaking around the tractor beam thingies, Luke swinging across the broken bridge with Lea, the duel between Vader and Obi-Wan, "Run, Luke, run!".... I mean, c'mon.
This is a lame-ass list.

Absolute coolest moment: Vader is looking at the Millenium Falcon after its been pulled into the Death Star. Vader says "I sense a presence I haven't felt since...." and then he walks off without finishing the sentence. Let me finish that for you Vader.... since Obi Wan whooped your little whiney BEHIND and left you for dead! HAH, that moment took on such a deeper meaning after Episode III came out.

ridiculous list. top 5 should have been (in this order):
1-Vader reveals his paternity to Luke
2-Yoda's battle against Dooku
3-Yoda pulling Luke's fighter out of the swamp
4-Han telling Chewie he has to take care of Leia (makes me tear-up EVERY time)
5-Han flies into the asteroid field (gives me goosebumps EVERY time)
the fact that Vader revealing himself to luke as his father isn't even top 10 is just plain stupid and singlehandedly kills this list's credibility.

Though, Han Solo is my favorite character of all time (and Leia is just freaking awesome too) I don't think the most BA of moments is carbonite freezing chamber one. I love that scene, don't get me wrong, makes me shed some tears every time, but man, I agree, in Episode III, the battle against Obi-Wan and Anakin (aka Darth Vader) to me, is the most memorable and most BA moment ever. Every time I watch it..it gives me shivers. It's just..wow. Not just for the physical effects but the mental effects as well. Padawan fighting Master. Best Friend fighting Best Friend. Brother fighting Brother-- it's insanely intense.
I also think, in Episode III, when Darth Vader is in that chamber and being placed in that iconic suit and the helmet slides over his face and you hear him breathe for the first time-- is just as BA as the battle and deserves to be either BA moment one or two.
