Stars in Rewind: Rest in Peace, Clue Characters

An era is over, and Wadsworth is shouting, shouting, shouting! If you like the classics, you better hold on to your old Clue boards because the BBC reports that the wonderful characters are biting the dust and making way for new, modernized possible murderers. Colonel Mustard is now a football pundit called Jack Mustard. Miss Scarlet is now a movie star called Kasandra Scarlet. Professor Plum is now a video game billionaire called Victor Plum.
This is up on Cinematical because I can't stop imagining how different, and less awesome, the Clue movie would've been if Christopher Lloyd was playing a DS in the corner, if Martin Mull was supposed to be a football dude. It's just wrong. All wrong!
So, in memoriam of a world with libraries, professors, and retro wonder, enjoy this clip of Clue.

I watched it recently, and think that they should remake Clue - the movie. It could have been a heck of a lot better, that's for sure. The 3 endings deal really screwed it up for me. I would bring back Robbins, because he is great in it, but otherwise, it should be overhauled. I don't know who to put in the other roles (Obviously most of the actors from the original have fallen off the planet, but it's not like they were that great in the original that you'd bring any of them back. Lloyd acted like it was his first movie job ever... wait, was it?), but that doesn't matter as much as just having an understandable plot and ONE ending.
This is one deserving of a better remake than its original. Never played the game though.

Who is this "Robbins" MCW is talking about from Clue? She obviously doesn't know enough about this glorious movie to be judging it. Plus, the article is talking about the reproduction of the game, not a remake of the movie (though I heard a while back that may be happening too). Clue is certainly my favorite board game, and one of my favorite movies. Redoing it in any way would (or will) be incredibly wrong.
