The Whole Pit Crew is Back in the 'Fast and Furious' Trailer
Filed under: Action, Universal, Remakes and Sequels, Trailers and Clips
I suspect that this trailer for Fast and Furious -- that's The Fast and the Furious, Part IV: Articles Result in Wind Resistance, or 2 Fast 2 Furious x 2 -- just made a wide number of gearheads moist over the triumphant return of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker as they drive fast and glare hard in a combined effort to save their careers.
Diesel and Walker find themselves reunited with Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster of the hollow but entertaining original, and the whole photogenic ensemble find themselves directed by Justin Lin, a.k.a. the guy they brought in to direct the hollow but tiresome three-quel that none of these actors were themselves a part of (okay, so Diesel made the briefest cameo, yippee for that). The stunts, though, appear to be more along the practical lines of the first two films, so perhaps a happy medium can be struck between their relative entertainment value and the numbing antics of Tokyo Drift.
Fast and Furious leaves skid marks in theaters next June.

If you like these films the 3rd one was way better than the 2nd, that one had so much CG it looked like a video game, hell, look at the closing credits for it. The 3rd one has some also but the majority of the driving and action scenes were real and done way better and shot nicer, which is the reason they bought Lin back. I did read they bought the character who died in the 3rd film since this one is a prequel to the 3rd film.

Of the three previous films, the first is still my favorite, followed by "Tokyo Drift" and then "2F2F." This trailer looks like alot of fun and i'm starting to feel like a high school kid again, like back when street racing was "rebellious" and "cool," if you will.
Oh, and Diesel just needs to go back to his old franchises and revamp them. Next, we need a "Riddick" sequel and a proper "xXx" sequel with him back in the lead role. But, please, no sequel to "The Pacifier."

This movie is going to be great. We have the best director of the franchise teaming up with the best 4 characters of the franchise. Finally a sequel worthy of the Fast and Furious franchise name.

Just so you know, The majority of the car stunts in Tokyo Drift were practical. The drift up the parking lot was real. If i recall correctly, only the scene where they were drifting in the mountains, and the final race at the end were cg'd. There were a great deal more cg scenes in the first two movies than the third.

Why no continuation The Chronicles of Riddick? In my opinion his best movie series. Fast & Furious was the second best and they both drew great box office numbers.
