Fan Made: Hilarious 'Juneau' Poster

... and speaking of pregnant girls ...
I probably don't have to explain this poster too much, since, ya know, all anyone has been talking about for the past couple days is how Governor Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter was knocked up. The Juneau stands, of course, for Juneau, Alaska, which makes this whole thing that much easier to spoof. And how can you not love that tagline ... "A comedy about running for president ...and the bumps along the way." (It's a joke! Lighten up Pubs and enjoy your convention!) The poster, however, is slightly behind the ball -- from what I understand, we do know who the babydaddy is; he has curly hair and looks like every single male lacrosse player I've ever met. They play lacrosse in Alaska? Right on! We here at Cinematical wish these two younger-than-they-should-be parents a long and prosperous life together. (And let us know when we should start blaming the film Juno for this pregnancy. Damn you Hollywood! You done it again!)
Update: Thanks to Goss for pointing us toward two more funny posters, located in the gallery below.
[Thanks Kevin and Goss]

A joke.... Where's the Obama jokes? Over the past few weeks the only "jokes" on Cinematical have been about conservatives. Lame.

Funny, but she said the EXPLICIT sex-ed programs would not find her support. There is a difference.
Funny can also be true, just for the record.

Not sure this is really movie blog topic material. I am not a republican so this isn't personal, but I read Cinematical for movie news. This is not movie news, it's a childish political attack. When was the last time this blog featured a poster mocking a democrat nominee? You guys usually have very good coverage of relevant movie news. Please leave the politics to more appropriate forums.

Wow what an astounding display of leftist male cheuvenism. See girls this is what the leftleaning men are all about. Again you and this Goss buffoon prove the point that leftist men are the real misogynists. Good job. Losers.

I know you spend more time learning how to clean up after the grandkids than you do the english language in high school in the deep south, but the word is spelled "chauvinism".
If Caribou Barbie doesn't like it, she can always quit. The same goes for you, Chicklit. I'd hate to have heard what you toothless inbreds would have had to say if Chelsea had gotten pregnant at 17.
Mainly because I'm sure it would have been grammatically atrocious.

Eddie, you smug, hostile asshole. Because her mom's a Republican, it's OK to trash a17y.o. girl? You disagree with Chicklit, so she must be an illiterate grandma from the deep south?
Regardless, it's this kind of sneering disdain that is driving up support for Ms. Palin so, by all means, keep it up.

I'm not trashing her because she's a Republican. I'm trashing her because like Mark Foley heading up measures for the prevention of pedophilia in congress, she's running on "family values" and the disdain for anyone who doesn't agree with her "morality", at least whatever morality allows her to look down on others while not requiring her to teach her daughter to keep her legs closed (or at the very least use some Godless Communist birth control).
If she wasn't pretending to be den mother for all of America, I have no problem leaving what happens in her family squarely in her family. Have you ever thought that maybe her daughter would consider "killing babies" if she didn't have the national spotlight and the support of (what I assume to be) a loving family? What about the thousands of girls across the country whose kids won't be born with that silver spoon in their mouths? Too bad? Tough luck? We need to support our kids with modern solutions to modern problems, not more of the same "my way or the highway" approach.
I have no problem if you believe abortion is wrong- I do too. But don't pretend that leaving our teens without options will make them toughen up and stop having premarital sex, because (obviously) it won't, but it will lead to more aborted or unwanted living children, and that is a disgrace to the America I know and love. Especially when your party's economic policies have put our kids' hearts and minds on the free market of advertising and entertainment, letting the dollar determine their attitudes towards sexuality and promiscuity...
But I'm sure I'm the asshole here.

I've always said Caribou Barbie has two chances to win my vote: the bikini portion of the presidential race, and the talent competition.
Just the thought of Joe Biden in short-esque shorts gives me the heeby jeebies.

I think this is hilarious, Cinematical. I appreciate when you tie in very clever movie references that also reference pop or political culture, and I suggest that anyone who doesn't like it go, I dunno... watch a movie?
And for the record, I would have found it hilarious if it was as clever a poke (no pun intended) at Barack "The Chosen One" Obama.

Wow! What a surprise! Instead of posting movie news Erik Davis and his crack team of 'journalists' post more liberal crap. WHO CARES!
I've seen these posted on The Daily Kos and The Huffington Post. If I wanted to subject myself to liberal stupidity I would go there. I come here for movie news - which may not be too much longer.

As a Republican supporter I'm not getting offended by this I just wonder where Cinematica's "satirical" political/film posts were when Obama and the Dems had their convention, or frankly, at all during this election. Bias much?

So the poster making fun of the Biden kids' mishaps will be up any minute now, right?
Oh no, wait, I forgot . . . families are off-limits. If they're Democratic families.
You stay classy, Erik.
