If all that Wonder Woman nonsense from a year or two ago actually managed to produce a live-action film, there's a good chance we would've already debuted a poster like the one above right here on Cinematical ... except that one would've been real. And hey, now that Warner Bros. is looking to go the Marvel route and launch a number of solo films for their DC Comics properties, there's still a chance we'll get that long-rumored Wonder Woman film at some point down the road -- but in the meantime, feast your eyes on this beautiful fan made poster, via artist Josh McMahon (who created the awesome Batman-inspired images seen in this post). Check out a couple more of Josh's Wonder Woman creations in the gallery below, then head on over to Josh's page to see lots more.

I think that Cobie Smulders would make a great Wonder Woman.

I think the poster looks alright but I really want to know why WB wants to make a Wonder Woman movie. There are so many better choices you could pick for DC woman.
Like has any one read the Raven comics just add dark like Nolan did with Batman and you have the set up already. Then you just need the stuff that makes Raven really cool.
Other DC girls are Hawkgirl, Zatanna, Starfire, Oracle, Supergirl & even Mary Marvel to name a few.
You could do a movie to tie in the Batman movies with giving Oracle her own movie and have her team members in it like the Huntress and Batgirl. This way you could show more of the world of Gotham that Nolan built.
These may not be known that well to people out side of reading the comics but they really are cool ladies.
I know WB wants to give people a Wonder Woman because people know who she is but why not show other gals who are not afraid ti get there hands dirty.

Jennifer Biel has the muscle tone and the looks to be Wonder-Woman. Evangeline Lilly from Lost would also be good choice.

The woman in the poster looks like a Celine Dion.
Now it Black Canary and Zatanna were in a picture together, would that rank high on the list of guilty pleasures? :)

I think Wonder Woman needs her own film. She is one of the highest ranking Justice League members, she is a cultural icon and with the right elements could make a fantastic movie.
Before giving the Birds of Prey a shot and just expanding the Batman universe WB should make it their focus to establish Diana in a film franchise and reboot the Superman franchise.
This shouldn't be as difficult as it seems to be. She is a beautiful woman, she is super strong, can fly and she's never going to age. She's also the queen of an island full of immortal flying beautiful super strong warrior women. How is this not a movie already?
If I was WB I would sit back down with Joss Whedon and re-establish the relationship he had with the property years ago. If they loved the WW2 script that they purchased after Joss left then they should bring those two guys in and let the three of them come up with an idea for WW.
Joss knows how to make stories with extremely strong female characters, brings with him a large fanbase and is pretty hot right now with Dollhouse and Dr. Horrible. The studio can then get the spin control they want by keeping the writers they wanted on the production.
I have a feeling that the major hang-ups with the studio involved the age of the actresses under consideration to play WW, and the lack of men in major roles in the film. Hopefully after watching what happens when you let someone who really loves the character (Nolan) take the reigns of a franchise they'll be less apprehensive with these issues.
