Countdown: Five People Who Should Star in 'PG Porn'
Filed under: Comedy, Fandom, Home Entertainment
If you like to surf around the web for entertainment news, you might have heard about an upcoming new web project called James Gunn's PG Porn. The writer of classics like Tromeo and Juliet and more shmeh flicks like Scooby Doo 2, Gunn teamed up with his brothers Brian and Sean (Kirk from Gilmore Girls) to create a family-friendly world of porn. That's right -- vignettes where the delivery man actually delivers what he's supposed to with no added packages. (Read Gunn's take on it here.) Each time, mainstream actors will be teamed with porn stars for these little clips, which will be aired over at Spike.com. First up: Nathan Fillion and Aria Giovanni in Nailing Your Wife. So I wonder: who else could benefit from this insane, and possibly hilarious, idea?
5. Rachel Dratch -- Outside of SNL, she's had stints in flicks like Harold, but imagine what buzz she could create with a porn star.
4. David Duchovny -- If there's one thing Hollywood drama has taught us, it's that making fun of yourself after the turmoil is a great way to get back in the audience's good graces.
3. Brad Pitt -- Okay, so he doesn't really need it, but I'd love to see more of the crazy gym dude from Burn After Reading.
2. Michael Cera -- He needs to rip out of soft, awkward teen mode ... maybe a porn icon would help.
1. Tom Cruise -- For years now, discussions of his acting have been interlaced with his Scientology practices. But then Tropic Thunder came and critiques gave way to laughter. This project could not only help keep the excitement up, but also battle other online clips that bash him. (Think Jerry O'Connell spoofing that ultra-secret Scientology video.)

Two things I never thought would happen in my lifetime: 1) porn stars becoming respected and mainstream, 2) most women being okay with this.

Who says most women are fine with it? I think it's a bad idea, and if children (family friendly) are going to be encouraged to watch it I think it's a super bad idea, it'll just fuel their likelyhood of getting sucked into the addiction of pornography - but I doubt JG or anyone involved in this could care less about the state of our young people and the generation they will become where women are continued to be treated like nothing more than sex objects and life is all about getting what you want and putting yourself first

Some of you guys need to lighten up. Most of spikes programming isn't exactly aimed at little kids. These should be entertaining and I look forward to that first one especially, as Nathan can be pretty funny and Aria is hot.

THOMAS MAPOTHER CRUISE reportedly owns significant financial shares in MCDONALDS RESTAURANTS, which forms part of a cabalist-illuminati "ARC TRIANGLE" with FOX NEWS and THE CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY INTERNATIONAL. Look up Hubbard's own writings about ARC while are quite revealing, and ask yourself why MERRILL LYNCH gave Cruise a 500 MILLION DOLLAR credit line when they knew they were about to dissolve in a hostile takeover by BANK OF AMERICA (whose financial ties with Scientology are well documented). Did Cruise take the money and run? BOYCOTT SCIENTOLOGY and BOYCOTT MCDONALDS now!

The phrase "lighten up" seems to justify every perverse and/or controversial behavior these days. it's almost as if it's socially unacceptable to be offended by anything if it's delivered in the form of satire

I won't pretend to enjoy porn, but I also don't think you can argue that it only makes sex objects out of women. It's always made out to be a womens' issue but every man, women and inanimate object in porn is a sex object.

The films are hilarious and the people commenting on their own agenda need to get out more often. Your children are smarter than you think. They sit and watch you screw your life away like any other web cast and sitcom out there. The humour in the films are made and written to poke fun at the adult industry as well as many other forms of urban legends, myths and comical stories that have been pasted on for many years. Yes, some women are used as objects, but at the same time so are some wives. And for Ronbot, why don't you save your money and actually invest in a business, think rationally for yourself, and quit living your life from a book. No one cares about your two-bit sense of being. I like the idea of people from the mainstream taking a risk to break new ground and explore the couriousity of the human intellect.
