New Teasers for 'Watchmen', 'Friday the 13th' and 'Twilight' Now Online!

It's online already -- and a good thing too, because I'm sure everyone forgot to set their DVR/TIVO for Spike TV's Scream Awards. While a lot of this is footage recycled from the trailer, there are some new scenes that should make you squee in excitement, clips that weren't even glimpsed at San Diego Comic Con. Admittedly, that footage is beginning to fade from my memory, but the only scene I recognize having seen before is Nite Owl and Silk Spectre kissing before a mushroom cloud. Oh, it all looks so good. I will continue to hold out hope -- after all, the the test audiences did say the film as a whole was excellent.

Every little bit of footage that appears about Watchmen makes more and more excited but at the same time everytime I read a note about the ending I squirm...
I was all for expecting this to be a terrible adaptation, like I did with Transformers. It turned out to be a million times better than I expected, so getting my hopes up for Watchmen might be the biggest mistake I can make. Still, he knows how to cut a trailer together...

Beautiful, simply beautiful. Currently, my only worry for this movie is the ending - I dearly hope it isn't changed at all.
However, I'm not really worried about that right now, because every bit of footage we've seen has been incredibly faithful to the books. I think it looks like Zach is doing a fantastic job.
(I especially loved the shot of Manhattan's hand coming through the roof - it made me smile. : )
I don't remember the mushroom cloud/kiss happening in the book - can somebody help me out? Was this in the graphic novel - if so, where?

There was a post a few days ago discussing the "slight departure" in the ending. On thing that was mentioned (and confirmed? I don't remember), was that Ozzie was going to use multiple A-bombs to change the world instead of the squid device.

I believe it is the dream that Dan has when laurie first sleep together. then he gets up naked and walks into the basement.

For some reason, I liked this a lot better than the original teaser. Perhaps I've just become soft.
