New Poster for 'The Unborn' - Great Poster or the Greatest?

A pal of mine passed along this new international poster for David S. Goyer's supernatural thriller, The Unborn, which Empire Magazine recently premiered. The Unborn stars Odette Yustman (Cloverfield), who finds herself haunted by one freaky little spirit if the freaky little trailer is to be believed.In the most petty terms, I give this one the benefit of the doubt over next month's other PG-13 horror flick, The Uninvited. This one was rated PG-13 for "intense sequences of violence and terror, disturbing images, thematic material and language including some sexual references"; that one can only boast "violent and disturbing images, thematic material, sexual content, language and teen drinking". Try and tell me you wouldn't rather see the former based on that assessment alone.
Other than that, I really just wanted to share this nifty poster with you and yours this holiday season. Co-starring Gary Oldman, Cam Gigandet, and Odette Yustman's Sweet Booty (also of Cloverfield), The Unborn opens on January 9th.

From what I remember of the trailer for this movie I'm pretty surprised its PG-13. Looks intense. After seeing this poster though I'm definitely checking it out.

The little freaky kid in the mirror is so over rated! The family secret, the good guy who helps but gets killed, the sudden screaming monster kid from the shadows, The Exorcist spider freak crawling on the floor and the boo hoo nightmare of the innocent sexy chick who is haunted by something she never expected. All this with a little digital fast pacing here and there to make it Fiora Sigismondi freaky. PLEASE, Hollywood, do something new. I miss The Thing years so much.

What does horror have to do with a girl in her underwear in the bathroom? Couldn't she have on a robe? When people go to bad movies with sex symbols they do not speak well of them.
Well, at least my favorite breath of fresh air is in this movie.

I actually think it looks pretty good, surprisingly (even to me) but I'll give David Goyer and Gary Oldman the benefit of the doubt on account of their being awesome and all. Oh and by the way....godDAMN!
