Live Action 'Thundercats' Nabs Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Vin Diesel!

Talk about an unbelievable casting announcement, it would appear Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Vin Diesel have landed parts in a live-action Thundercats movie. Not only that, but somehow this news managed to remain hidden long enough so that the folks behind the scenes could create the film's first trailer. I'm, like, completely shocked and blown away ... and totally f**king with you.
The following fan made trailer was actually created by WormyTV, who spent somewhere in the ball park of a year and a half working on this fictional marketing ploy. Seriously. To spend that long on a fake trailer means you have to be one sick and twisted Thundercats fan, but we here at Cinematical certainly applaud that kind of geeky determination. Check out the trailer -- which is being passed around the internet today faster than a joint at a Jonas Brothers concert (OH, he did not just go there!) -- down below, and try to name all the different films featured. Which of these actors could you actually see starring in a film like this?

Completely hilarious and well done. It's good to see people finally just making crap up and admitting it for entertainment value.
The six months of 'Batman 3' casting 'rumors' became an utterly ridiculous spectacle. All the while Christopher Nolan hasn't even signed up to make another much less have fleshed out any ideas as to what would happen. It's like arguing where your potential kid is going to go to college with someone on a first date.
The only thing more ludicrous is Apple hardware 'rumors'. I think it's time to come up with a new word for internet rumors. Something that properly reflects the HIGH probability that what you're reading is much more than likely utter BS.

Saw this earlier on today, but it's still amazing. Very well done.
And honestly, who COULDN'T see Vin Diesel signing up for this movie? I'm not endorsing the actual making of this thing, but if Hollywood starts seriously sniffing around the production rights (like it does with everything else), his voice alone would certainly attract a few suit-bots.

Ironically, I picked Pitt and Diesel as my ideal cast for the Thundercats movie.

Actually, upon further reflection, that's not Spy Kids 2. I'm thinking it's just Spy Kids 1. (sorry, had to mainline 'em in a weekend. They kinda just... blurred together).
