I started watching "How to Deal" last night on The CW (It presumably was on there because it had one scene set on New Year's Eve), so I'll finish watching it today. Not a real great way to start the new year, but I have to at least see what happens to Mandy Moore, and if the whole singing career pans out or not.
After that, something off of Netflix Watch Now... possibly "The Cleaner" w/ Samuel L. Jackson and Eva Mendes.
I went for the gloriously upbeat The Mist, today. I'd seen it already but sometimes a guy needs to give himself a good slap in the face (and this film's ending is just that).
Theatrically, my last movie of 2008 was The Wrestler on Christmas Day. On Blu-ray: The Dark Knight
My first of 2009: Collateral, then Hustle & Flow. Theatrically, it could be either Revolutionary Road, Waltz With Bashir, or Marley & Me. I don't really care which.

Diving Bell and the Butterfly claimed my first of 09 while Brick claimed my last of 08. I couldn't have hoped for better movies for my new years.
