Exclusive: Clip from 'Taken'

Cinematical has just received this exclusive clip from the film Taken, starring Liam Neeson as a former spy who must use his old skills when his estranged daughter is kidnapped and forced into the slave trade. Taken is director Pierre Morel's follow-up to the fun and exhilarating District B13, and with a script from both Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, you know you're in store for a little action. In fact, advance buzz on this flick is extremely positive -- so much so that some websites are questioning the late January release date. Personally, I think it's fine to release a good film in January or February. Heck, if it's a great flick, does it really matter when it's released? Last I checked, people were still willing to go to the movies in the middle of winter when it's freezing out and there's nothing better to do.
So bring on Taken this January 30th -- I'm officially stoked to see it!

TAKEN is destined to be the next guy movie, the next movie that gets passed from dorm room to dorm room, quoted in the most flattering ways. And it deserves it big time. The movie is an adrenaline rush from the moment Liam Neeson delivers an ultimatum that rivals that of any cinematic badass to date. Then the script spends an hour making good on every word he speaks. Watching Liam Nesson make a mess all over France is, for lack of a better word, awesome, awesome, awesome. Easily ranks among the coolest one-man actioners ever made.
Been out in other territories for a while now. I've seen it at least 4 times and you can bet Liam Nesson's sweet throat chopping ass I'll be there in theaters in the US as well.

I've been saying it since I saw the film 6 months ago....it is incredible. If you're a fan of Liam Neeson, you'll know what I mean. There's just something about seeing LIAM NEESON play the ultimate badass shoot em up stompin all over the bad guys action hero that just gets you all riled up. It is AWESOME.
Can't say enough for him taking this part, he's not only a great actor but now a great action hero. Sequel please :)

This is pretty much the sweetest action news I've heard in a long time, because from the moment I saw this trailer, I was HYPED-unbelievably so...this movie looks incredibly badass, and that clip plus all the good buzz is just making me more and more excited.

Seen this four or five times in the past month and a half and it never gets old. Absolutely loved it, non-stop action with some laughs here and there. Cannot wait to see it on the big screen.
