Unlike last year's poor showing, the Hollywood studios are bringing out the big guns for this year's Superbowl. What that means is our first look at Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, as it seems Paramount will be holding out for that Superbowl launch. Other much-anticipated trailers arriving that Sunday include G.I. Joe, Angels and Demons, Monsters vs. Aliens (the 3-D version, which requires special glasses, will air at the end of the second quarter), Land of the Lost and Fast and Furious, with spots for Pixar's Up and X-Men Origins: Wolverine also likely. Damn.
Last year I believe a couple trailers leaked prior the the big game, but all of them were available online immediately afterwards. No word on whether any of these trailers will arrive online beforehand to soak up a little internet spotlight before having to share the main stage on Superbowl Sunday. Additionally, according to Variety, some studios -- like Warner Brothers, Fox and Disney -- still haven't bought air time, but may wait until the last minute to snag a spot at a lower price. Warners, for example, has Watchmen, Terminator: Salvation and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on the agenda, and we'd be surprised if none of those snuck in a little game day treat.
Which trailer are you most excited to see?

Has anyone noticed that many trailers on television have the name of the movie across the top throughout the entire trailer(underworld, twilight,etc)? Why is this happening? It's very annoying. Someone do a story on this.

I'm looking forward to Transformers, and Monsters vs Aliens. It's GI Joe that I'm most intrigued with. So far everything we seen from GI Joe has made it look like a disaster of "Daredevil" proportions. But being a child of the '80's I soooo want it be good!

@Joel
I'm there with you. I absolutely adore good trailers (sometimes more than the movies), and half the fun is figuring out what movie it is before the reveal.. Seeing that line of text takes me out of the moment, as well.

Monsters vs. Aliens, G.I. Joe, and Transformers. Monsters vs. Aliens because i get more excited about it the more i hear about it and I love Dreamworks animation, G.I. Joe because I'm a Stephen Sommers fan and i've been wondering what he'll do next, and Transformers because the first one was good and I like Shia Labeouf

GI Joe!! Yo, Joe! I'm with techstar, I'm also an 80's child so this is my #1 summer movie, which also explains my excitement for a Transformers 2 trailer. Star Trek looks good but have already seen the preview. Monsters vs. Aliens should be fun to watch, and Pixar's Up- not as excited about the premise, but if Pixar can make great movies about talking Rats, Cars, & Fish, they can do anything.
