A whole slew of new (and old) images have found their way into a gallery over at The Los Angeles Times as part of a 2009 preview, and among the big blockbusters and comedies, we have our first look at I Love You, Beth Cooper (pictured above), starring Hayden Panetttiere as Beth Cooper. If you go by the popular book (which is pretty awesome), Beth Cooper has the potential to become one of those classic one-nighters, a la License to Drive, Adventures in Babysitting or any other teen-esque comedy that takes place over the course of one wild and crazy night. The films tells of a valedictorian who, during his big speech, professes his love for the hottest and most desirable girl in school, Beth Cooper. And when he and his friend get a chance to hang with Cooper and her gal pals on graduation night, things just spiral out of control. Definitely looking forward to this one -- it hits theaters on July 10.
Below we have another image from the Where the Wild Things Are adaptation, directed by Spike Jonze, which hits theaters on October 16. Check out some more images after the jump ...

Another behind-the-scenes image from Avatar, directed by James Cameron (pictured). I'm starting to think the next image from Avatar will show us Cameron going to the bathroom. Will we ever see an actual character? This one comes out on December 18.

Here's a shot of Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler laughing it up in Judd Apatow's Funny People, due out July 31.

Speaking of Rogen, here he is as a mall cop in what I feel may go down as one of the best comedies of the year, Observe and Report, due out April 10.

John Cusack in Roland Emmerich's 2012 (aka How Will We Destroy The World This Time?). Their viral campaign has already started; just google 2012. This hits theaters on July 10.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker pair up for another Fast and Furious flick. due out April 3.
Check out more over at The LA Times.

"Their viral campaign has already started; just google 2012".
What a waste of money, if that is what they are doing... if you can't tell the difference from a viral site and some jo blo's site, it kind of renders the viral campaign useless. I certainly don't have the time to try and pick out which is which.

I disagree. That's how u spread the hype of a certain genre. Even History Channel's catching on (Last week was Armageddon week). You know ur advertising is working when even eduational organizations catches on :)

I just checked out IMDb for Funny People. Among others, you've got Eric Bana (of Hulk fame), RZA and Andy Dick as himself. And of course, Adam Sandler in the lead. Judd Apatow sure does like him a challenge.
