Fan Made: Steampunk Ghostbusters

From time to time we're known to dabble in the steampunk stuff, and it would appear the art of creating steampunk versions of some of our most beloved movie characters is becoming more and more popular by the minute. While we've promoted a number of really cool Steampunk Star Wars and superheroes (from drawings to actual action figures), we've never posted about an actual human being all steampunk-ified. Well then, let me introduce you to The League of S.T.E.A.M. (Supernatural Troublesome Ectoplasmic Apparitional Management) -- otherwise known as Steampunk Ghostbusters, who, according to their webpage, are "taking the 1984 back to 1884."
Not only do these guys have their own costumes (complete with steampunk proton pack and gun), but they also travel with their own set of 1880's ghosts. Yup ... I think I wanna drink a beer with these dudes. Check out a few more images of the Steampunk Ghostbusters in the gallery below, and a video of them after the jump.

I saw these guys in person at last years Labyrinth Halloween Ball. Their costumes were quite impressive in person as well.

Wow... I feel kind of silly even having submitted my model now... This is awe inspiring.
All those cogs and lights... Heck, the proton gun even shoots steam. How cool is that!?

Am I the only person that is really tired of the word steampunk? Seriously, every time I see one of these god damn clowns making something out of leather and brass, I want to hit someone.
While I realize my anger may be irrational, I just didn't expect to find it on Cinematical.
