'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' and 'Star Trek' Super Bowl Spots Online

I may not have liked Transformers (as previously established), but two things are certain: I'm in the minority on that one (to the tune of something like a gajillion dollars), and all of youse would gladly pay to see more of the same, and if this leaked spot is any indication, that's exactly what you'll get -- alien robots that indeed transform, stuff blowing up, Shia LaBeouf breaking his hand and Megan Fox breaking my heart.
I can't promise how long this spot will stay up, or how similar the soon-to-come trailer will be when it's attached to the Michael Bay-produced Friday the 13th remake a week from Friday (which is getting some surprisingly good buzz, BTW).
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen allegedly rocks your face off on IMAX and regular screens come June 26th.
Additionally, check out the Star Trek (which hits theaters on May 8) Superbowl spot below.

The Star Trek movie's going to be huge. I think we'll see a new trilogy born.

I also thought Transformers was not a good film. I'm not a snob about sci-fi action films either. I love those kinds of films. Iron Man was great, for example. But I think Transformers is why we get crap like Speed Racer. Hollywood sees a big noisy movie with no plot and it becomes a hit despite all warning flags that it will proudly deliver on stupid dialog, poor direction, overdone special effects and people go see it because...I don't know, there is one hot star in it that they like? Steven Speilberg's name is on it? I don't know. But now there is this big turd of a movie that raked in a gazillion dollars and we have a sequel that was squeezed out.

did any of you actually SEE the orginal transformers cartoon?? It was terrible for all the reasons you say the movie was terrible. speed racer was bad for all the same reasons the cartoon was bad. haven't you figured it out that trying to make a "serious" movie based on cartoons that were one trick ponies at best is ludicrous. If they took themselves too seriously, that would be a mockery. sit down...shut up...turn off your brain for two hours and enjoy giant robots, explosions, over the top special effects, good vs. evil and a sexy love interest. This is why we all still love Star Wars. this is the adolescent male psyche at it's finest and if you are fortunate enough to have held on to your inner twelve year old while trudging through your 30's (the averge age of most original transformers fans) more power to you. I deal with enough in real life...sometimes, it's nice to check your brain at the door and enjoy.

Well, I don't want to see a "serious" Transformers film. But in a perfect world, there would be no Transformers movies and they could do something wild like come up with a fun new idea and satisfy my inner adolescent geek (who looks suspiciously like my outer middle-aged psuedo-intellectual) and I'd be happy to check my brain at the door. Hey, I went to see Ghost Rider, (not a very original idea based on a second string Marvel character) enjoyed it as a fun time waster...but don't want to see a sequel. So this demand to repeat the explosions and giant robots again...what's the appeal? If you want to check your brain at the door, why not just watch the original on DVD? Or the next brainless FX extravaganza? Can Someone explain that to me?

I have never been a huge Trekkie, although I love the first few movies. I must say that I'm really looking forward to this new Star Trek, mainly because Abrams is directing it.
Another reason to see this is that the son of the original Scotty (Chris Doohan) has a role with the new Scotty. Pure f'in genious!! He's quite the looker too (check out his IMDB below)
