Wrath of Bale Strikes Cinematical
It seems that not long after audio leaked of Christian Bale losing his cool on the set of Terminator: Salvation, Cinematical Managing Editor Scott Weinberg had some choice words for yours truly about our site and my work on it -- only for his oft-dormant temper to flare up similarly and suddenly. As such, I can't say how long this post might remain up, but you can listen in on most of the phone call below. The profanity contained within has indeed been censored, but the volume alone might be NSFW, so keep your fingers on those volume knobs.
I hope you're proud of covering Cinematical in this poison, Mr. Bale. I really do.
(And if that weren't silly enough for you...)
Warning: Video contains foul language and is NSFW

Normally, I find this kind of inside baseball despicably inane, but the phrase "That's a Newsie mistake ..." has me paralytic with laughter.

Because I think what this song really points out is that "Newsies" was in dire need of some profanity in it's music.

Actually, he says 'newsie' at first, then pretends he said 'newbie'. This is all too funny

You know. After all this, if the "I'm the GODDAMN Batman!" line isn't uttered in Nolan's Batman 3 there will be no justice.
Bat-shit Bale FTW. This guy is my hero.

I'm confident you have to know the participants personally to find this funny. That said, I find it hysterical.

This thread is in DIRE need of a true Newsies fan. Mr. Weinberg and Mr. Goss, have you even seen the 1992 classic tale of working class newspaper boys battling William Hearst's empire -- with only their songs and their dancing to guide them? Because it's gut wrenching stuff. HISTORY. The kid from RoboCop 2 is in it. So's one of the Bash Brothers from The Mighty Ducks. And Bale dances his little heart out.
You two, with your parody and your judgement - it just makes me sick.
Love,
Jen

Very professional phone call. Senseless yelling and swearing are, of course, the widely used and respected authoritative principals that govern all professional behavior. If you haven’t taken time to tell-off one of your fellow workers in public you are not behaving in a professional manner. Excessively repetitive and sounding like a spoiled little girl while f-ing this and f-ing that and f-ing everything just sounds so professional; don’t it?.... Why sure it does, and it’s the cause of exhilaration, each of us feels inside, when we see professional behavior emulated. Kudos, for your professional emulation!
