UPDATE 3: The full trailer is now online over at Yahoo!
UPDATE 2: A much better HD version of the ET trailer is over here.
UPDATE: Entertainment Tonight premiered the first trailer earlier this evening, and so until it arrives online, here's one of those cruddy bootleg versions to keep you entertained.
What does it mean when we crave footage so much that we post a preview of a trailer? Granted, this is a Quentin Tarantino movie, and it is one that we've been teased with for ten years. I think we can be forgiven for salivating over snippets of footage ... especially when even the tease is fun to watch.
While the official Inglourious Basterds trailer hits Entertainment Tonight later , The Movie Box managed to get a snippet and put it on YouTube in the wee hours of the morning. If you want a big, high-definition version, that's where you should click. But just in case you don't want to leave the cozy confines of Cinematical, we've embedded above. Tell them thanks as you enjoy Brad Pitt's crazy ass accent -- and remember, it's only a few more hours until you get to see the whole damn thing.

I've really started to enjoy Brad Pitt as an actor over the last few years, but man his accent sucks.

Agreed, that's pretty horrible. Oddly, he's otherwise been very good at accents. This just seems like a toned-down version of his "pikey" from Snatch.

I think the accent is fine. I think QT wanted it that wy. Who knows? Still seems like a cool movie.

it's funny how she calls it "Brads WWII epic" and not a Tarantino epic, i don't know about everyone else, but i was more excited by it being directed by Tarantino than it starring Brad Pitt.

AAHHH yes, soo can't wait for this movie!! Tarantino doesn't make movies fast enough in my opinion, lol! This movie is going to kick so much ass! And for all of you who are asking those dumb questions, and pondering and complaining already, have you never seen a Tarantino film? do you not know how he directs? Have you no clue of his style and how he purposely does things in his movies? The movie is classic Tarantino, in the humor, action, direction, dialogue, and everything else great and brilliant about QT!!

I have a feeling that the "Death Proof" fans will eat this up and the Grindhouse haters will find themselves something else to beat up on.
And I agree that Brad's accent is probably suppoedly hokey in a B-movie sort of way.

Dare to criticize an obvious problem, that retarded accent: "Ah want mah Natzy scalps, dagnabbit!" And right away, you're told, "You just don't get it. It's QT! It's a tribute/sendup/spoof/salute/homage to something or other!"
QT's definitely got the most devoted fanboys in the business!
