Full 'Inglourious Basterds' Trailer Now Online!
Filed under: Fandom, Movie Marketing, Trailers and Clips

The full trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (yes, that's how they're spelling it -- no need to call us names in the comments section ... again) has finally arrived online via Yahoo Movies (or watch it embedded below), and from the looks of it we're going to get Brad Pitt (with a weird southern accent) and a group of B-list celeb soldiers beating the living crap out of Nazis for roughly two and a half hours (knowing Tarantino). Just watching the scene where Eli Roth lines up a baseball bat to the head of a Nazi soldier before swinging as hard as he can sent a few anticipation shivers down my spine.
Inglourious Basterds will arrive in theaters on August 21, which we've already mentioned is a strange time to release a film like this seeing as late August is reserved for throwaway comedies and action flicks no one cares about. Basterds feels more like a late November, mid-December film -- a war flick that hits us when it's cold and warms our blood. But enough babbling -- check out the trailer and let us know what you think.

This is absolutely horrendous, wrote Tarantino off after Death Proof. Kitch like filmmaking has finally caught up with him.

i hate to judge a movie by it's trailer but this one so far this doesn't do it for me. Looks more like a grind house short taken to the big screen. Brad Pitt gives out the feeling like he is going to laugh out of character when he supposedly gets upset...Lee Marvin, where are thou?
I assume it's going to be good, I hope it is, I am giving QT my vote of trust but all the hype leaves me kinda wishing for something more interesting rather than action packed, we got too much of that already.

I never stopped liking Tarantino, not even for a second. Loved Kill Bill, loved Grindhouse-the whole experience was fantastic. This is the kind of movie he loves to make, and the one I love to watch. I'm sold.

I think this movie is going to be fantastic. I thought Pitt's speech sounds cool. I don't know why people are doubting it.

Man, I hated Death Proof. I almost walked out of the theater because I was so freaking bored that I really didn't care what happened at the end. Now this on the other hand looks like just pure and simple popcorn fun, I can't wait.

I generally really like Tarantino, aside from Death Proof, which made me want to eat my own hair. I will go see this movie, but if QT could only change things so that Eli Roth was the one getting his head bashed in with a baseball bat, I would go see it TWICE and also buy the DVD as soon as it comes out.

this is a remake of ...those inglourius bastards...to which my father brought me to see when i was a child many years ago,had to pay adult price as i was too underage over 18 as i recall.A real unforgotten gem of a war movie pretty bloody think dirty dozen crossed with saving private ryans brutality and your there.Strange as it never appeared on tv or for that matter never came across it on vhs or dvd.Quentin hmmmm damn fine movie think a remake is in order with my stamp on it.Think not MR TARANTINO please leave original as is.Should you come across Those Inglourios Bastards on a rental space hidden in obscurity rent it you will not be disapointed.

We all have to remember that Tarantino has been working on this script for something like ten years.
I have full faith that, in a similar manner to Kill Bill, Tarantino's style will transcend the typical genre crap.
Plus, it looks like everything that is cool about a WW2 movie, minus all the sentimental crap.
I'm pumped.
