Between all the "theatical breaks" and commercials in the program (I do realize they need to give actors time to go to the bar and restroom) I could have walked my dog, cleared the driveway of snow, called my mother, and given myself a mani and pedi. Thank God for DVR!!!
All that being said, let's hear it for Kate!!!

I can't take this "Slumdog" shit any longer...IT WASN"T THAT GREAT PEOPLE!! i swear if the whole cast walks on stage when it unfortunatly wins for best pic, i will Vomit!! The revised oscars is BBOOORRRIINNGGG!!! it really drags,lame in parts, and most of it is just useless.....the academy is so out of touch. I want my 4 hours refunded.

( to efthimia ) Sorry dear, but thats what the whole purpose to this thing is..its a forum where your asked your opinions. Your "quick to judge" mentality, one-sided point of view, and general demeanor toward others opinions, makes you the ignorant one in this case. I have traveled around the world, and seen first hand, what many people only experiance from there sofa watching the discovery channel. I have witnessed the ethnic cleansing that China has been doing to the country of Tibet since the 50's...I have witnessed what our bombs and bullets have done to the people of the Middle East.. I have witnessed starving moms and their kids living in cardborad and tin makeshift huts in the slums of the Philippines, and 13 year old girls in Thailand, who walk the streets selling themselves so there siblings have some rice to eat that night. So you can believe that my opinions on things of this subject matter carry a little more weight than the average person like yourself, that being said i never "Hated on" the movie, i said it wan't anything spectacular, which it wasn't. Not every movie featuring a watered-down version of some kind of struggle or adversity, is a great film.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Oscars this year. Hugh was great and for the first time, watched the whole show. Very entertaining and not so scripted. Enough of showing Brad & Angelina-nauseating!! Loved the way they presented the actors/actresses. Whole show seemed classy and a great change from past years!!
