Watch This: Cat Sh*t One (aka Apocalypse Meow)

Every once in a while we need to be reminded that not only are our Japanese friends completely out of their minds, but they're also pretty freaking awesome. Take, for example, this new anime series called -- wait for it -- Cat Shit One, or as it's known in the US ... Apocalypse Meow. Directed by Kazuya Sasahara (who you might know as the brains behind Bikini Samurai Squad), the series follows ... well, a group of bunnies who kick tons of ass. I think.

Here's a better description from WarmingGlow: "The 12-episode anime series of "real and fierce combat by cute and fluffy animals" updates the manga's premise by making the three soldiers part of a modern private military company. In the first episode, the three attempt to rescue hostages, but end up surrounded by guerrillas demanding the withdrawal of United States Armed Forces in the area... The project is still in the planning stages, and the studio is still looking for investors."

Investors, huh? Well I don't have much money, but I'll totally kick in 10 bucks to see more of this maniacal bunny brutality. And I love animals! That said, their pitch did make me laugh a little: "Anticipated Customers: Clients who are looking to invest in imaging contents that are on a par with those by PIXAR." Um, not really ... but it was worth a try. Check out the trailer below, but be warned that this may be NSFW or small children.
