Watch This: Lindsay Lohan Looks for Love on eHarmony
Filed under: Comedy, Fandom, Trailers and Clips

Let the resurrection of Lindsay Lohan begin! We all know Hollywood loves a comeback, and nobody needs one more than one Miss Lindsay Lohan. Frankly, if this girl has a hope in hell of reviving her career, reminding us why we liked her in the first place is a very good start. The much maligned actress has done a faux eHarmony profile video for the good folks over at Funny or Die (which is slowly becoming the one-stop shop for teen actors to expand their horizons), and believe it or not, the results are pretty funny. Posing as a customer of the dating service, Lohan lands some good jokes over her run-ins with the law, party-girl reputation and supposed dwindling finances. Plus, I have to admit; for once it felt good to be laughing with the gossip mainstay and not at her.
As much fun as it's been to watch Lohan become a full-scale Hollywood train wreck, there's still a big part of me that would like to see her succeed. If you think back to just a few years ago, Lohan was ready for a big movie career and she had brought down the house on her first appearance on SNL. But, as her gossip quotient rose, the deals stopped rolling in like they used to, and suddenly Lohan was the living example of everything that was wrong with Young Hollywood. But here's the one thing that made Lohan stand out; unlike many of her celebutard compatriots: she had actual talent.
Judging by her performance here, maybe if the infamous red-head can snag a role in a quality comedy, we might forget that she used to be the punch-line. What do you think?

Man, that would be nice if she got it together. She looks like she could use a good night's sleep, though.

I know this was supposed to be funny, but I didn't laugh at all. It just made me sad for her.

This is the best acting she has done in years and that is so sad. She needs to grow up and fast.

The hole just keeps getting deeper and deeper! She just will never get it! Sad because she actually has a unique look and has some talent.

I don't mean this as an insult to either party - I respect both - I believe John Waters' and Lindsay Lohan could do something beautiful together. Her antics of the past often read to me like one of his scripts, only tamer. She's definitely still got a comedic flair and an edge

It might be funny if she weren't still doing all of the things she's poking fun at herself about. Joking about how your life has been a train wreck is only funny after the fact, not when you're still amongst the wreckage.

This was funny, but kind of sad too. She looks awful, but it's great that she can laugh about herself.

I really hope she gets her shit togethor and someone takes a chance on her, Mean Girls is still one of the best teen movies out there, and the girl does have actual ability.
So lets just see what happens, shall we?

"Lohan was the living example of everything that was wrong with Young Hollywood."
Rather, Lohan is the living example of whats wrong with this country. Just look at all these comments. Sorry folks, but none of you know Lindsay, so none of you can actually say anything true about who she is and whats she's like. Shes made a lot of mistakes, sure, but so do millions of teenagers as they grow up. I guarantee you that if I'd had a camera following me around 24/7 when I was growing up there would be a lot of things people could hate about me. Stop judging her personal life so much, because even with all the scrutiny none of us know a damn thing about it. Judge her by her acting talent, which she has enough of to be a success in hollywood if people would stop buying into all the gossip rags. Frankly I find peoples obsession with celebrities to be pretty disgusting and fairly stupid. And I don't mean the behavior itself is stupid, I mean buying into it and talking about those people like you know them is a sign of your intelligence level.
