New 'Transformers 2' Clip: Megan Fox Strips and More!
Filed under: Action, Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Fandom, Movie Marketing, Comic/Superhero/Geek, Remakes and Sequels, Summer Movies, Trailers and Clips

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen footage that was screened at ShoWest a couple weeks ago has just made its way online, and it's a pretty good taste of what we should expect from the larger-than-life sequel. The clip merges the cutesy robot-relationship stuff from the first film, as Sam tries to convince Bumblebee that college is a good thing while Megan Fox rushes to take off her clothes for some reason -- and then we get the good stuff: a 30-or-so second montage of giant f**king robot action shots that should either pump you up for the new movie or leave an "eh, looks like the first one with more robots" taste in your mouth. Curious to see what you all think of that cranky old man robot; seems like he has the potential to either play good comic relief or suffer from annoying Jar Jar comparisons.
Check out the footage and let us know what you think. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hits theaters on June 24.

With all of the "pushed to the limits sfx" to create the transforming robots one would think they would do a better make- up job on covering up Megan Fox's tattoo. (:53 seconds in)

Too cool. It didn't really pump me up, but that's either because I'm already really excited or it wasn't a 'true' trailer. It really makes me smile to see that Jetfire has a transforming cane for some reason, and while Blackout has a fairly obvious shot or two in there, you'll have to look harder (and pause) to see that Megatron is clearly back (last two clips before the title sequence.

Always the logic questions...
A.- Why wouldn't he take Bumblebee to college? He can turn into any car he wants, park himself, clean up, no gas. With this economy? Is Witwhikiki or what ever his name is, insane?
B.- What hot girl strips at your parent's garden while firemen are putting out the house?
Dull...

I agree, as cool as this clip was, the whole "I just want to be a normal kid at college without a transforming robot car." Its such a cliche attitude that they give to young people in movies and on TV. For example, the cheerleader on heroes is still complaining after 3 years "oh poor me, I have this awesome super power and I cant die, its so unfair" Its annoying and even next to a 20 foot transforming robot its the most unbelievable part of that clip. Nobody (especially a kid) would complain about something like that. Other than that stupid scene though it looks great!

Eh, more of the same crap. I can't believe that Michael Bay had the audacity to say that the geometry/physics for Optimus Prime didn't work as a Peterbilt yet all of the Transformers in his films obviously have the ability to magically change densities considering how frickin' large the robots are in relation to the cars. It also amazes me how many people pay good money to see this crap. They should get Paul Walker and Vin Diesel to do the third one. They could call it "Too Fast and Furious to Transform".

Shia la busfter's garage. Bumblebee is informed by the Bufster that college is around the corner, Bumblebee plays "I'm so excited" by the Pointer Sisters because he still can't talk. Megan Fox, for reasons unknown, steppes out and strips from her hot, over aged all leather suit into a hot, innocent Megan Fox white dress with flowers. Meanwhile, Shia tells Bumblebee that he won't be taking him to college, Bumblebee cries from his windshield sprayers, or he cries break fluid or something. Then, a thousand less than one second images of Baysplosions and giant robots, which I agree, are fun to look at. The end. Meh!

Why thank you Mr. R....that was quite insightful! Well....it sounded kinda funny, and Megan Fox is, as we all know, ridiculously hot, and explosions....what more could a guy ask for?
